Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel 32 oz.

Unbeatable shine and protection in a water-based, VOC-free formula!

Opti-Bond Tire Gel is the next generation tire dressing from Optimum. The thick, water-based formula provides a high gloss shine on all tires, wheel wells, interior and exterior trim, vinyl, and dashboards. Apply Optimum OPti-Bond Tire Gel anywhere you want a high gloss shine! Opti-Bond Tire Gel delivers optimum performance and shine to all rubber and vinyl surfaces!

Opti-Bond Tire Gel bridges the gap between rubber and vinyl protectants and tire gels. This is one product that goes on all rubber and vinyl surfaces, inside and outside your vehicle. The water-based formula is never greasy, so you can use it to protect and enhance interior vinyl. Yet, the formula is durable enough to withstand the elements on the outside of your vehicle!

The ultra-safe formula contains no petroleum distillates or VOCs, which are known to crack vinyl and rubber. Opti-Bond Tire Gel’s safe, water-based formula delivers premium protection and an attractive shine to all rubber and vinyl.

Beyond great looks, Opti-Bond Tire Gel provides durable protection to rubber and vinyl. Advanced UV and ozone protectants shield tires and trim from sun damage and environmental pollution. Rubber and vinyl surfaces stay supple, flexible, and retain their color with regular use of Opti-Bond Tire Gel.

Because Opti-Bond Tire Gel is made by Optimum, you know you’re using a superior product. The tire gel creates a shiny, but never greasy, finish on all rubber and vinyl surfaces. The finish is water-based, so it will not attract dust. Just like the name implies, Opti-Bond bonds to the rubber to create a long-lasting finish. It will not sling off or rinse off.

Optimum Opti-Bond can be used as is or it can be diluted to use in a spray gun.
Opti-Bond can be applied with a foam applicator or with a spray gun and air compressor.

Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel can be applied a couple of ways. You can wipe it on with a foam applicator, just like a traditional tire dressing. The other option is to dilute the gel 1:1 with water and apply it with a spray gun and an air compressor. The gun will deliver a fine mist over the tires and wheel wells. This is a great option for professional detailers and garages. Wipe away excess tire gel with a foam pad or a lint-free towel.

Opti-Bond creates a dark, shiny finish on tires, rubber trim, interior vinyl trim, and dashboards.
Opti-Bond Tire Gel produces a rich, dark shine on rubber and vinyl.

Opti-Bond Tire Gel produces a handsome, rich shine and durable protection with just one coat of its VOC-free, water-based formula. Get everything you want in a tire dressing – and nothing you don’t – with Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel.

Best on the market
June 29, 2014
Simply incredible if you apply it with a spray gun. I use a small HVLP spray gun and dilute it 1:1 with water. It stays shiny for weeks and it does not sling off at all. My tires look like a mirror. Seriously just check out the picture I am attaching.

As a Kansas City auto detailing company, we are faced with some pretty harsh weather. Lots of heat in the summer and cold salty snow in the winter. Love the Optimum Tire Gel. I highly suggest using their spray gun that hooks up to an air compressor. Saves time and product while producing a higher quality product. Thanks again for another great product Auto Geek! Keep up the good work team.

Assume!
February 21, 2012
i have been looking for years for a good water based tire dressing. I mix this half with water, and apply with a paint brush to avoid over spray. This leaves a nice dark finish, but not so shinny it looks fake. Great product for RV tires that can get damage from the other tire dressings.

This product has a look all its own and is really near the top of the heap of tire dressings along with a few others. No sling, decent durability, gorgeous look.

I had previously used tire shine from the big box stores, and I am never going back. This also works well on plastic trim.

Great Dressing!
January 6, 2011
As usual, great product from Optimum. Dilute 1 part with water and apply with a foam applicator or spray with an air gun for a nice even shine texture. No greasy look, nice even finish and no sling! I highly recommend this product to anyone in the professional detailing business or as a hobbyist.

Matte Look
October 17, 2010
I dilute this product with 1 part water (its still quite thick) and apply two coats with a foam tire applicator. It gives a great even low-gloss matte look that lasts up to 2 weeks. It's water based, doesn't sling, and doesn't cause tires to turn brown after it wears off. After trying many tire shines, this is the one that I'm sticking with.

Great Tire Dressing
October 3, 2010
Optimum did it again; they produced a product that beats my expectations. I spend a lot of time making sure that my 911 Turbo S looks better than new. Optimum helps me do just that. Follow the directions for Opti-Bond Tire Gel and you will be very pleased with the results. Opti-Bond stays on the tire and does not splatter all over the car and produces a great look. MBH

Great stuff
February 11, 2010
I use it on tires, but I even used it on my vinyl convertible top last year. That car never looked better, it didn't run, and even today it looks great and I have not re-applied it. I just watered it down and sprayed it on when the sun was hot and let it bake on for a few days.

Good for tires. Great for wheel wells!
November 10, 2009
My new favorite . Ultima was on top, but is watery compared to Opti Bond. It will hold on a vertical surface or you can apply to a foam applicator or sponge. Pops wheel wells better than CG Fade to Black at a fraction of the cost. Sheen is to my liking on tires or vinyl. Nay do well in engine bay too (havent tried it yet. Great bang for the buck when buying a gallon!

Partially disappointed
September 3, 2009
I was surprised at how watery this tire dressing was. I have not doubt that this is by far one of the safer dressing out there. I havent tested it but i have a hunch it wont last as long as say the Four Star dressing(my favorite). Opti bond dries to a matte black look, no shine just a nice black look.

FANTASTIC!
August 25, 2009
This is the best tire dressing I have found, I like the "new tire" look and this stuff delivers, just enough shine to tell that the tires are dressed. If you are looking for a bling bling look this probably isnt for you. Opti-Bond delivers very good durabillity, when the shine does wear off the tires remain black for a long time. To take full advantage of this stuff you really need an HVLP paint gun, it will pay for itself quickly if you do a lot of cars, 1 oz of concentrate will coat 4 tires and the engine bay.

Shine goes away after a day
June 25, 2009
Had high expectations based off of the recommendation from a customer service agent. It wipes easy and doesn't collect dust like other tire dressing products, but the sacrifice is the lack of shine and deep wet appearance I was looking for.
