CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant 1 Liter - On Sale!

The ready-to-use version of CarPro’s Hydro2 Touchless Silica Sealant!

CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant might possibly be the most revolutionary car care product you’ll ever purchase! CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant is spray-on, rinse-off paint sealant that provides durable UV protection and jaw-dropping water repellent properties. Unlike a traditional car wax or sealant that requires rubbing and buffing, CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant simply needs to be sprayed on and rinsed off. It’s that easy!

Keeping your car clean is simple – or is it? In order for your paint to stay clean and shiny in between washes, the surface needs to exhibit excellent water sheeting properties. Water sheeting is created by surface tension, which is an attribute of a high-quality paint coating or paint sealant, like CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant. The more surface tension present on your paint, the less likely it will stay dirty as water will simply roll off, taking dirt and other contaminants with it. CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant is one of the most hydrophobic paint care products available – water simply rolls off the surface immediately upon contact.

The secret to CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant lies in its advanced chemistry. Formulated using hydrophilic glass fibers, silicon polymers and advanced fluoropolymers, Hydro2 provides a remarkably glossy, slick finish that complements its superb paint protection. CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant can only be described as one of the most advanced surface care protection products available.

Spray on and rinse off – that’s how simple CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant is to apply. Read that sentence again – notice anything? There is no rubbing or buffing when you apply CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant. Simply wash your car like you normally would and while it’s still wet, spray Hydro2 over every surface including paint, wheels, chrome, convertible tops, and glass, and simply rinse it off. After you’ve thoroughly rinsed Hydro2 Lite off the surface, dry the vehicle with a quality microfiber drying towel or car dryer, like the McKee's 37 Turbo Car Dryer, and your vehicle will be protected for up to 3 months.

Unlike the original Hydro2 formula, CarPro Hydro2 Lite Touchless Silica Sealant does not need to be diluted. Use the included sprayer and simply spray and rinse!

  1. DO NOT USE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Thoroughly clean the surface(s) to be protected. Do NOT use any type of wash and wax product as this will interfere with the bonding of Hydro2 Lite. To ensure the surface is free of any previously applied waxes and sealants, we recommend adding two ounces of Pinnacle Signature All Purpose Cleaner to your wash bucket.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Working on a third of the vehicle at a time (while it’s still wet), spray a fine mist of Hydro2 Lite directly onto the surface.
  4. Thoroughly rinse off using a strong jet of water.
  5. Continue this method until entire vehicle has been treated.
  6. Dry the vehicle using a high quality microfiber drying towel or car dryer, like the McKee's 37 Turbo Car Dryer.

Great protection, streaks easily
Gotta work quick with this stuff. I typically do the wash, spray the product, rinse off, dry, and then I have an extra buffing towel to buff away any streaks. I've used Aqua Coat by Auto Finesse and had no problem with streaks but Carpro matches the protection and water beading properties for sure.
ProsWater beading is top notch
ConsWork quick or it streaks

Easy to Use
I recently washed my car and then applied this to the wet paint. I only did a panel or two at a time and I would let product sit for 15 seconds. I was absolutely amazed after completing whole car (6-8 minutes total). It beads the instant you hit it with water. The water runs right off the car similar to reload. I’ll be curious of it’s longevity but even if it lasts a month it’s so easy to use it’s worth it. I also used a small amount on Car so this bottle will last a while. Nothing easier than this!
ProsEasy to use and you don?t need much product!
ConsNone so far!

I love this stuff, so easy to use and leaves a great shine. I like it better than the McKee's product that is like this one.
ProsDoesn't get any easy to apply Great shine Beads water exceptionally well Use less product than other same type products
ConsNone so far
Easy to use, immediate results
Very easy to use: simply mist on while car is wet, them spry off, followed by a through rinse. Immediate benefit was impressive when applied to my daughter's new used car that likely had not been detailed or waxed recently (if ever). Even if it only lasts for a month (vs the advertised 3-6 months), is so much easier than a full wax or sealant application. Recommended.

Unfortunately, Not A Fan
Bought this product along with several other CarPro items as I get ready for a PPF & CQuartz Treatment.
Thought I would try it on another vehicle first since I was told it leaves spots.
Sure enough, this product left so many water marks it was insane! Followed directions to the letter and did not overuse, spray too many areas, and rinsed it off as soon as I set it down!
It DOES make the water roll off faster, but leaves water spots that are very difficult to remove!
Don't think I'll be using it on the high end car being treated soon, and might just give it away to a friend.
Doubt I'll be using it again.Trial and error my friends. Whatta ya gonna do right?
ProsBeads water very fast
ConsLeaves the toughest water marks/spots Ive ever seen! Spray comes out so fine you get "Hand Pump" from having to actuate the trigger so many times!
