Great product. Been using for years, looks great, safe to use
I used this on my vinyl top convertible years ago. Sprayed it on and let it sit over night. Top looked like new! Years later, still looks great.
I use it on our RV tires. I use half tire gel and half water, put it on with a paint brush. I have my own detail shop for years, and tried many products. This one works great, and is safe.
Prossafe, looks great, water based.

The Best Yet
This is probably the best tire dressing that I've used to date (around 10 or 12 total products). This is a really thick gel that spreads evenly and gives just enough contrast. If you don't want a shiny finish, and a product that's easy to work with then this is the product for you.
ProsThick, easy to work with, doesn't sling, just the right look.

My go to tire dressing
On my third bottle. Love the clean matte like finish it leaves. Clients ask me what I use as they also like the appearance of their tires.
ProsWorks, matte finish and cost.

This is my second bottle. Originally purchased the 8oz bottle and I was so impressed with the tire gel and how it made the tires look new, not glossy, I decided to buy the larger bottle. OPT products are outstanding and I am glad that Autogeek carries their line of products.

I am pretty happy with the opti bond. Goes on well with a small sponge and seems to last a good while. Pretty shiny at first but overall leaves tires looking healthy. I also use on black trim areas with great results.
ProsShiny and lasts long

Picked this up based on lots of people stating how it survives rain pretty well. It rained the day after I applied it for the first time. No luster left at all. Washed 2 days later and reapplied and again it rained within 48 hours. Next dry day, no luster. I feel like I wasted my money. Being more of a specialty product vs. off the shelf at the corner auto store, I expected more.
Make sure you thoroughly clean the tires before applying the gel. Optimum Power Clean works great.

Best on the market
Simply incredible if you apply it with a spray gun. I use a small HVLP spray gun and dilute it 1:1 with water. It stays shiny for weeks and it does not sling off at all. My tires look like a mirror. Seriously just check out the picture I am attaching.

Love it love it love it
As a Kansas City auto detailing company, we are faced with some pretty harsh weather. Lots of heat in the summer and cold salty snow in the winter. Love the Optimum Tire Gel.
I highly suggest using their spray gun that hooks up to an air compressor. Saves time and product while producing a higher quality product.
Thanks again for another great product Auto Geek! Keep up the good work team.

i have been looking for years for a good water based tire dressing. I mix this half with water, and apply with a paint brush to avoid over spray.
This leaves a nice dark finish, but not so shinny it looks fake. Great product for RV tires that can get damage from the other tire dressings.

This product has a look all its own and is really near the top of the heap of tire dressings along with a few others. No sling, decent durability, gorgeous look.
I had previously used tire shine from the big box stores, and I am never going back. This also works well on plastic trim.

As usual, great product from Optimum. Dilute 1 part with water and apply with a foam applicator or spray with an air gun for a nice even shine texture. No greasy look, nice even finish and no sling!
I highly recommend this product to anyone in the professional detailing business or as a hobbyist.

I dilute this product with 1 part water (its still quite thick) and apply two coats with a foam tire applicator. It gives a great even low-gloss matte look that lasts up to 2 weeks. It's water based, doesn't sling, and doesn't cause tires to turn brown after it wears off. After trying many tire shines, this is the one that I'm sticking with.
Great Tire Dressing
Optimum did it again; they produced a product that beats my expectations. I spend a lot of time making sure that my 911 Turbo S looks better than new. Optimum helps me do just that.
Follow the directions for Opti-Bond Tire Gel and you will be very pleased with the results. Opti-Bond stays on the tire and does not splatter all over the car and produces a great look.
Does not sling! finished down in a very nice matte natural finish, not greasy looking.

I use it on tires, but I even used it on my vinyl convertible top last year. That car never looked better, it didn't run, and even today it looks great and I have not re-applied it.
I just watered it down and sprayed it on when the sun was hot and let it bake on for a few days.

Good for tires. Great for wheel wells!
My new favorite . Ultima was on top, but is watery compared to Opti Bond. It will hold on a vertical surface or you can apply to a foam applicator or sponge. Pops wheel wells better than CG Fade to Black at a fraction of the cost. Sheen is to my liking on tires or vinyl. Nay do well in engine bay too (havent tried it yet. Great bang for the buck when buying a gallon!

I was surprised at how watery this tire dressing was. I have not doubt that this is by far one of the safer dressing out there. I havent tested it but i have a hunch it wont last as long as say the Four Star dressing(my favorite). Opti bond dries to a matte black look, no shine just a nice black look.
This is the best tire dressing I have found, I like the "new tire" look and this stuff delivers, just enough shine to tell that the tires are dressed.
If you are looking for a bling bling look this probably isnt for you. Opti-Bond delivers very good durabillity, when the shine does wear off the tires remain black for a long time.
To take full advantage of this stuff you really need an HVLP paint gun, it will pay for itself quickly if you do a lot of cars, 1 oz of concentrate will coat 4 tires and the engine bay.
