Designed to bridge the gap between dual action and rotary.

RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher is the long-awaited addition to the already winning RUPES line-up. Featuring a forced rotation for increased correcting power and speed, as well as a clockwise rotational movement, the RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille moves like a dual action polisher, but boasts the cutting power of a rotary tool. The lightweight build and quality construction lends to an easier-to-handle tool overall, with immense correcting power thrown in as well. With an ideal balance of power and ergonomics, the RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher proves itself to be a gamechanger in the world of paint correction.

The hunt for the perfect polisher is the fun, yet challenging, aspect of car detailing. You want a tool that is easy to use, lightweight enough to hold for hours at a time, and most importantly, it actually works! The debate over which polisher is the best will never be resolved, but RUPES is certainly one of the top contenders. And adding the RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher to their tool selection only enforces that.

RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher features:
Clockwise rotation – increases control the user has during use. Will reduce lateral movement that can impair paint correction.

Gear driven, forced rotation – provides increased cutting power while remaining safe on your paint. Will keep your pad in a more consistent pattern and will not stop, regardless of amount of pressure being applied.

Variable speed control – allows more control than a traditional “on-off” switch. Click positioning technology tells you when your tool is on the selected speed and keeps it there.

Progressive accelerator trigger – provides additional control while in use.

Ergonomically comfortable – button and switch positioning are in good placement and are comfortable for users. Reduces strain on grip.

Reduced vibrations – prevents the user from experiencing fatigue while in use.

Soft start – slowly increases the speed of the machine and reduces slinging polish and unanticipated power.

Includes two backing plates – 125 mm (5 inches) and 150 mm (6 inches)

Rubber tool rests – allows you to place the tool face up without damage to tool.

RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher was in the planning and production stages for a long time and the results show it! Superior handling, ergonomic design, and advanced pad rotation and control helps the RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher perform like none other.

The RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher, due to its very nature, has increased torque output and heat generation – so RUPES planned accordingly! For best results, it is recommended that the RUPES Mille Foam Pads and the corresponding RUPES Mille Chemicals are used with your RUPES LK900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher. Available in two sizes, these pads will fit perfectly into your growing RUPES collection!

Great Polisher with a lot of power
This polisher works very well and has an excellent cut. Great substitute for a rotary. Great to have in your detailing arsenal.
ProsEasy to use. Great ergonomics. Excellent cutting power. Can finish really well. Comes with both backing plates and able to use 5 and 6'' pads.
ConsHeavy compared to other polishers.
Super Powerful Machine
I came from a Flex rotary to the Rupes, as professional detailing seems to be trending towards, orbital polishers for paint correction over Rotary.

This machine is incredibly smooth and easy to handle, though you must be careful because at high speeds it easily has the power to rip off your finger. I did not have any issues with it walking, you just need to make sure you properly season the pad you are using with Polish. As I said the machine is very powerful and smooth and I could not stop the rotation no matter how hard I pushed down and I am very strong weightlifter.

I only used the machine for light paint correction in the spring, so I can't speak to heavy paint correction, I do not see this as being a problem though with the right polish and pad combo- this thing has huge speed and power.
ProsSmooth, very powerful, feels good in my hands, easy to control and takes less time for paint correction than a pure Random Orbital.
ConsSmall learning curve and techniques to season the pad you must use for proper operation. Tutorial available from Youtube Rupes page.
Prior 3401 user review
I had high expectations for this because of the hype and because ive been using the 3401 for so many years. Decided to give Rupes a try- bought this a Mark 2 15 and a MIni. I thought id love the Mille but after testing the Mille against the 15 Im sold on long throw and now wishing I had gotten a 21 instead of the Mille. Will I miss the forced rotation??? I seriously doubt it. My first impressions of the Mille vs the 15 lead me to believe that I should have gotten a long throw a looong time ago.
ProsWay more ergonomic than the Flex 3401 More powerful than the Flex Smoother than the Flex Comes with a 5 and 6 in backing plate No pad stall Rotates the right way Precise edge work Long cord
ConsLack of throw Unimpressive ability to correct or finish Does not correct or finish any better than a 3401 Not easy or a pleasure to use because of its tendency to walk
