Poorboy's World SSR1 Light Abrasive Swirl Remover 16 oz.

Nano abrasive powder leaves an unbelievable gloss!

Poorboy's World Light Abrasive Swirl Remover has micro and nano polishing powders that clean the paint more effectively and leave the paint looking incredibly smooth. The new yellow polish is water-based, low-dusting, and silicone-free.

Poorboy's World SSR1 Light Abrasive Swirl Remover has been overhauled with the latest nano polishing abrasive technology. Ultra fine abrasive dust polishes away mild imperfections and swirls while restoring gloss. The advantage of nano abrasive particles is that they do not leave micro abrasions in the paint, like larger abrasives. SSR1's nano abrasives work longer to level imperfections and leave the paint looking flawless.

At the first sign of swirls, light scratches, and oxidation, use Poorboy’s World Light Abrasive Super Swirl Remover. This is the most gentle of the four swirl removers. Unique cleaners and very light nano abrasives gently remove mild blemishes from your paint surface without scratching the clear coat. Formulated properly, SSR1 is your best ally against unsightly swirls and scratches. These abrasives are so fine; you can’t even see them with the naked eye. These microscopic abrasive particles exfoliate the dull surface to reveal fresh, clean, bright paint that shines like new.

All Poorboy’s products are formulated to be used in or out of the sun. They will not dry to a stubborn haze or mar your finish if applied in direct sunlight. Poorboy's World Super Swirl Remover SSR1 has a long working time to allow you plenty of time to remove imperfections without dusting.

Poorboy’s Super Swirl Remover can be applied by hand or with a polisher, by a professional or a novice. It works beautifully on all paint and clear coat finishes and on vehicles of all ages. If applying SSR1 with a polisher, use a foam polishing pad, like the Lake Country White Polishing Pad.

Use Poorboy's World SSR1 Light Abrasive Swirl Remover as a finishing polish after using Poorboy's World heavier swirl removers. SSR1 can also be used as a mild polish on newer paint finishes with very mild imperfections.

SSR1 contains no silicone, wax or silicones. It is water-based and body shop safe. Fine swirls, scratches, oxidation, and overspray are no match for this remarkable product!

At the first signs of swirls and oxidation, Poorboy’s Super Swirl Remover 1 in the yellow formula is your vehicle’s anti-aging serum.

Does the job on light swirls.
The wife had her new vehicle washed by someone who didn't have any regard for sand or grit in their wash mitt. In the sun it look terrible. Using a random orbit polisher and the recommended foam pad, SSR1 removed the swirls. Only a few deeper scratches remained along with some surface pitting from bugs. A heavier compound will be required to polish out that damage. The only negative remark I have is that once the pad had been used for a while, 1/4 of the SUV, it began to get sticky due to the polish gumming up the pad. I would have to stop and wash it out use a clean pad. Towards the end I kept a squeeze bottle of clean water handy and gave the pad a few squirts to get through the standard polish sequence.
ProsDoes the job, not aggressive at all to the paint, for light imperfections.
ConsAs the pad gets saturated, it tends to dry out prematurely.

Just what my pretty good paint needed.
I recently purchased a pretty nice 2009 BMW which had obviously been well cared for, but not necessarily in show condition. The paint was very nice, but not perfect and showed the typical swerls you would expect from hand washing and normal wear and tear on a daily driver used by a conscientious owner. SSR1 Swirl Remover is exactly what I needed to bring the good paint to near perfect condition. This product followed by their Black Hole Show Glaze and a coat of hard wax is the perfect combination for me.
ProsJust the right product to improve already good paint and bring it to near perfection.

Perfect Product
This product does wonders after using a heavy compounding product. I find it works best when used on old single stage paint. I used it on my 1973 VW Squareback's original paint and the results were outstanding.
ProsGood quality product for the price. Does an excellent job at rejuvenating paint.
ConsIts not pink anymore, what gives?

Great Clean-Up Polish
I used SSR1 to clean-up after using SSR2.5 to remove swirls/scratches. The SSR1 made a big difference in the finish and really cleaned it up for glaze/sealant.

SSR1 is a good light polish
I liked SSR1 very much. It removes the hazey top layer of clear coat very well and leaves a great finished and shiny surface. It can remove minor surface swirls as well. And as always from poorboy's, the price is right. Joe G. New Jersey

Excellent product
SSR1 is great for removing light imperfections and buffing the finish to a mirror finish ready for the wax/sealant of your choice. Like the rest of the PB line I particularly like using this when I'm going to be working in the sun. This polish doesn't mind compared to other products on the market. Pleasant smell also makes it nice to work with.

Excellent Polish
This is a great polish for final polishing or for removing minor swirls. I like how versatile it is in that you can use it on multiple surfaces and like the other Poorboys' products it doesn't stain the trim.

Paint imperfections worst nightmare
I used this stuff with a PC and Meg's 8006 polishing pad to remove some spider scratches and embedded water spots. It left my finish like a mirror. Patients and proper use and SSR1 will workout most imperfections in your finish. Another great thing is it can be used in direct sunlight with no problems.
