CarPro PERL Coat Plastic & Rubber Protectant 500 ml.

PERL Coat makes tires look like new!

PERL Coat by CarPro is a water-based, protective coating for plastics, rubber, and leather. PERL Coat restores the like-new appearance of these surfaces and keeps them looking good with strong UV and hydrophobic protection. Best of all, PERL Coat lasts up to three months!

The sun is brutal on flexible materials, like rubber, plastic, and leather. Gradually they fade and become brittle and cracked. You have to be dedicated to applying a protectant every week or two...or do you? PERL Coat is changing the rules.

PERL Coat provides excellent protection and lasts up to three months. High grade UV protection maintains the supple feel and original color of treated surfaces. Plus, PERL Coat revives dull, faded rubber, plastics, vinyl, acrylic, and leather. These surfaces are left with a non-greasy, non-sticky satin shine that is just as beautiful as it is beneficial.

PERL Coat is water-based and contains no solvents. It will not damage tires or dry out plastic. PERL Coat is even safe on leather. PERL Coat stops leather cracking and protects it from dirt and stains. Surfaces treated with PERL Coat will require less cleaning and they will retain their like-new look.

PERL Coat is a concentrate. Dilute it with water according to the instructions and pour into a spray bottle. Even in this diluted form, PERL Coat has incredible staying power. It lasts months, not weeks.

The pictures speak for themselves! PERL Coat revives dull trim, tires, and seats and keeps them supple with a UV-blocking satin shine.

Recommend dilution ratio:
External plastics - 1: 3  (1 quantity PERL : 3 quantity water).
Engine – 1:1~3
Tires - undiluted ~ 1:1
Interior rubber / dashboard / leather / vinyl – 1:5

  1. Dilute PERL with water and pour into a  spray bottle.
  2. Clean the surface well before applying PERL Coat. Shake the diluted mixture well before use. Spray on surface from 20cm distance and wipe off with a microfiber towel.
  3. PERL Coat can be applied to tires and rubber trim with sponge applicator.

My go to Plastic & Rubber Protectant
CarPro PERL has really become my go to rubber product and it's durability is outstanding! While there may be an expiration date on the product, I've had mine now for two years and it still works as well as first time I tried it!!.
ProsLooks great Easy to Apply Long Lasting Economical
ConsNone that I'm aware of

CarPro Perl
Work in bodyshop environment and this is a wonderful product. It doesn't create problems with fresh paint or other things being painted in shop. Leaves a really nice satin finish on hard plastics like the dash, door panels, center console. PERL doesn't leave a greasy feel to the surfaces like other products but the surface is still slick to the touch. Tried on leather and while it did a nice job, there are just better products for leather itself. The dilution stretches this product out for multi jobs. Did not try on tires as I have other tire dressings. Will be buying again.
Favorite water based dressing
I use this product straight out of the bottle for tires and the shine is amazing! looks great at 5:1 for interiors as well
ProsShine, ease of application
ConsDoesnt last long on exteriors, but its water based so its common

...No sling great shine
Was a loyal Meguiar's tire shine user for years. A friend suggested I try this Carpro Perl. I'm so glad I did. I used it diluted 1:1 for the tires and the sheen was perfect for my liking. Not to dull and not to bling bling. The best part is I've seen no evidence of sling. I used the same dilution on the interior plastics, rubber and leather and it was perfect.
ProsNo sling and multi use. Don?t need to use a lot to get good results.
ConsNo so far

Very versatile protectant
This is a great protectant. Using it diluted for an interior detail spray, it gives a nice soft sheen and it smells good. It's doesn't leave a greasy feeling either. I did use it on exterior trim and while it works, I can see it wearing off quick if you go through several washes or rains. My truck has been through one rain so far and it's not washed off however. I'll probably stick to using this inside from now on though.
ProsSmells good, leaves a nice, non-greasy satin shine. Great for an interior detail spray. Goes a long way.
ConsNot durable for exterior if you wash frequently or go through several rains. Still usable on these areas but there are better products for this application.
