CarPro PERL Coat Plastic & Rubber Protectant 500 ml.

PERL Coat makes tires look like new!

PERL Coat by CarPro is a water-based, protective coating for plastics, rubber, and leather. PERL Coat restores the like-new appearance of these surfaces and keeps them looking good with strong UV and hydrophobic protection. Best of all, PERL Coat lasts up to three months!

The sun is brutal on flexible materials, like rubber, plastic, and leather. Gradually they fade and become brittle and cracked. You have to be dedicated to applying a protectant every week or two...or do you? PERL Coat is changing the rules.

PERL Coat provides excellent protection and lasts up to three months. High grade UV protection maintains the supple feel and original color of treated surfaces. Plus, PERL Coat revives dull, faded rubber, plastics, vinyl, acrylic, and leather. These surfaces are left with a non-greasy, non-sticky satin shine that is just as beautiful as it is beneficial.

PERL Coat is water-based and contains no solvents. It will not damage tires or dry out plastic. PERL Coat is even safe on leather. PERL Coat stops leather cracking and protects it from dirt and stains. Surfaces treated with PERL Coat will require less cleaning and they will retain their like-new look.

PERL Coat is a concentrate. Dilute it with water according to the instructions and pour into a spray bottle. Even in this diluted form, PERL Coat has incredible staying power. It lasts months, not weeks.

The pictures speak for themselves! PERL Coat revives dull trim, tires, and seats and keeps them supple with a UV-blocking satin shine.

Recommend dilution ratio:
External plastics - 1: 3  (1 quantity PERL : 3 quantity water).
Engine – 1:1~3
Tires - undiluted ~ 1:1
Interior rubber / dashboard / leather / vinyl – 1:5

  1. Dilute PERL with water and pour into a  spray bottle.
  2. Clean the surface well before applying PERL Coat. Shake the diluted mixture well before use. Spray on surface from 20cm distance and wipe off with a microfiber towel.
  3. PERL Coat can be applied to tires and rubber trim with sponge applicator.

Awesome Product!
All of the other comments are true about this product! This product is so versatile. I use it at a 5:1 (water:PERL) for everything, including tires. By using it at this ratio for tires you do not have to wipe off, it still gives a satin look, and it will save you money. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Great on tires and other rubber and some plastic
Make sure you use distilled water otherwise be prepared to see impurities (black stuff's) mixed in with the solution. Spray it on rubber and let it set, that's it. On some plastics, spray it on and then wipe off.
ProsDoes everything it says. Very pleased with this item.

Just got this from AG the other day and this morning had a chance to use it on my tires. Wow. Perfect, even black matte finish with no greasy look. And it was a breeze to apply. Cannot wait to try this on exterior and interior trim.
ProsGreat look on tires. Just what I was looking for.

I like!
Good product especially on leather. I find Mothers Reflections Advanced Tire Care to be way better for tires as far as looks but Mothers slings off where Perl DOES NOT. Overall I like it and will continue to use it for several different applications, like interior leather, tires, and plastic trim. You can dilute Perl with water to suit your particular needs, another plus. I wouldn't use Perl on my seats unless I diluted it at about 5:1. I used Perl on my dash at 1:1 and the shine is phenominal, dry to the touch and almost. blinding. Try it! You'll like it...
ProsVersatile, you can double, triple and even quadruple your stash depending on how you dilute it. Great for Plastics, Rubber and, Leather. Works as described. Better than all the store bought brands. Not greasy or messy. I've never used anything like it...
ConsIf you're looking for a serious wet look for your tires you may want to try another product. Or, maybe use Perl undiluted. Should be sold with a separate spray bottle for your preferable diluted mix.

Of all the protectants for Vinyl and Rubber I have tried over the years, which is a LOT, PERL is the best protectant for the money EVER.......PERIOD. Don't waste any time or money on anything else, just do yourself a favor and get PERL. I use it non-diluted on my tires, wiping the excess after it dries for a while. Then use diluted on other surfaces inside the vehicle 1:3 in a small spray bottle (buy the little one CarPro offers). There is no other rubber/vinyl product that can compare with PERL. CarPro hit the bulls eye with this one as they have with the other products they offer. I am impressed with every single CarPro product I have ever used, they really do their homework when developing anything they sell. Although a little pricey, in the long run, it's well worth it. Don't waste money on the watered down products offered by other manufacturers, just get PERL. It's a thick liquid that must be applied by a foam applicator (I use the 99 cent throw away ones once and toss them after use). 5 stars PLUS on this one. It leaves a satin sheen that just looks like a fresh, new tire when it dries. Not that crazy looking shiny stuff. Tires should look clean and new, not shiny! PERL accomplishes that look. If you want a little bit more shine, do a second application after it dries but it's still not that glassy ugly shine that the cheap junk imparts on a tire. This is pure CLASS!
ProsGood "bang for the buck" as this can be applied very sparingly. One bottle should last you several years if used correctly (1 liter size) Imparts a new, non shiny, fresh "new tire" appearance on your tires.

Wish I would have tried it sooner
All I can say is this is a product (as with any other Carpro product I have used) that does what it claims it will. On interior black plastics it really makes them glow...not shine and blind you just a deep black glow. Love it. Exterior trim it is outstanding too. Not sure on longevity yet but I bet its better than most.
ProsThe look it leaves Dilutable 4.5 Stars just cant do halves

Amazing product!
I've used mostly OTC products for my tire dressing and have never been completely satisfied. I ordered a bottle of PERL and all I can say is WOW! I applied it undiluted to my 2014 Nissan Rogue tires and they look awesome. With it being a SUV the tires are large and I only used approximately 1.5 ounces of product. The shine is amazing with only 1 coating. I'll be diluting it to try on my engine next. If you want a high quality dressing this is the one!
ProsEasy to use, a little goes a long way, great results.
ConsNone so far.

expires after 1 year
This product is GREAT but it expires after 1 year. I bought the 1 liter thinking it would last awhile since you can dilute it.

Most Versatile product around
This product gets 5 stars for versatility and looks! Durablity varies depending on the material but outlasts most products in that department as well. Pros: 1.- Application: Very easy (Spray on, wipe off) 2.- Appearance: Darkens the surface to BEAUTIFUL satin finish 3.- Versatility: Use on exterior trim and tires, interior vinyl and leather, and under the engine bay 4.- Dry: (Non-greasy) finish that doesn’t leave spots and lines on the trim when it rains 5.- No lingering scent on interiors 6.- Price: After diluting you really get a lot of product for the price See my full review here: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/40314-review-carpro-perl.html
