Effortless results.
I bought these pads specifically for my Flex 3401 and they did not disappoint me. This pad glided effortlessly across the car and took the scratches out like they weren’t even there. I have used other types of pants before and they all worked OK but this one made it even easier in and performed better than the rest. These are the only types of pants I will ever use again on my flex they made a great machine work even better as if that were possible :-)
The photo is a 2008 Sterling class 6 truck Crane with single stage paint. I used BLACKFIRE 1 step and my Flex 3401 with the orange LC Force hybrid pad and it looks better than new!
ProsThe polish stayed on the face of the pad and did not overly absorb it. After each area was polished the pad cleaned up very easy with Tornador blow out tool.

Good pad
Used this pad with a one step polish for a paint enhancement and any of the slight swirls were removed. Granted my car only has 15k miles on it but the results were great none the less.

Best For Forced Rotation Polisher
Holds up much better on a Flex 3401. Spoke to Lake Country directly. HDO and Force Hybrid were the two pads recommended.

Great pad for soft black paint
I recently began to correct my ‘08 BMW 328i for the first time, which has the non-metallic black paint people always complain about being so soft. I used this pad and Pinnacle Advanced Compound on a Flex 3401 and achieved a flawless finish, not even joking. All but the deepest of RIDS (which would need wet sanding to remove) were gone and no hazing was left behind. I followed up with a finishing polish on a LC Crimson Hydrotech pad, but it really didn’t make a discernible difference.

The pad has the right “give” to it and was not overly stiff and softens nicely while cutting, but without any compromise in performance. Its overall construction and hook and loop backing are very robust and will no doubt hold up to demanding applications.

I also liked how easy the pad cleaned up afterwards; I probably could’ve gotten away with using warm water only, and no cleaner.
ProsDidn't scour non-metallic black BMW paint, robust construction, easy to clean.
ConsPrice, maybe?
