Next apply a layer of Dodo Juice
Doublewax Soft Wax on top of the existing hard wax coat. (Wait 1-24 hours
before doing so.) The soft wax gives the paint the desirable wet look. This
wax is also carnauba-based yet in a softer, smoother consistency. Doublewax
Soft Wax gives the paint improved depth and gloss, and it adds to the
protection afforded by Doublewax Hard Wax.
By layering Doublewax waxes, you’ll
achieve the ultimate shine and durability. This double-layering of carnauba
waxes has been done by detailers for years, but the Dodo Juice Doublewax Kit
is formulated just for that purpose. Each wax is designed to work hand in
hand with the other wax so your results are maximized.
Each 200 ml jar should be enough for
18-26 layers.
Application:
As with any car wax, we’ve found
that the best results are obtained on a clean, smooth paint finish. Use
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Prewax Cleanser to remove old layers of wax and
improve the paint’s texture. Then apply a layer of Dodo Juice Doublewax Hard
Wax using a soft foam applicator. Allow it to cure for 5-10 minutes but
there’s no need for the wax to dry. Since the cure time is relatively short,
we found it easiest to work in sections. Buff off the wax with a soft
Cobra Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towel.
Wait 1-24 hours before applying
Doublewax Soft Wax. Use a clean applicator or your bare hands and apply the
wax in sections. Wait 5-10 minutes for a light haze to form and then buff
off with a clean Cobra Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towel.
