Duragloss Wax Eraser (WE) #481

Erase waxing mistakes instantly!

Duragloss Wax Eraser is formulated to easily remove wax and polish residue from textured and smooth surfaces. Duragloss WE erases the white, chalky residue and leaves the textured surface like new.

Duragloss Wax Eraser undoes one of the most common detailing problems: white chalky stains on black trim. Many waxes and most polishes do leave some kind of white residue that easily wipes off paint, but is virtually impossible to remove from plastic and rubber. There are a dozen home remedies out there but all you need is Duragloss Wax Eraser.

Duragloss Wax Eraser dissolves errant wax and polish on smooth and textured surfaces. A gentle solvent eliminates the chalky stain without harming rubber or plastic. These surfaces will look like new.

This is not a cover-up product! Duragloss Wax Eraser literally erases white wax stains and they won’t come back. The sponge-tipped applicator bottle makes it easy to apply Wax Eraser to trim and moldings without messy applicators or drips.

To use, apply Duragloss Wax Eraser to the wax stain. Wait several seconds. On textured trim, you may find it helpful to scrub lightly with a detailing brush. Wipe the area with a towel.

The stained trim dilemma is solved. Use Duragloss Wax Eraser to quickly and permanently remove wax and polish stains from smooth and textured trim.

Works with elbow grease
I purchased this hoping for a "silver bullet". It definitely is not the "silver bullet", but with the use of a toothbrush and some elbow grease I was able to remove all of my wax mistakes after 2-3 applications. I would give it a try again.

I tried this product numerous times on different vehicles to no effect. Even after literally seven to eight repeat applications on the same spots it did not come close to removing fresh or old wax stains from door handles and bumpers. Duragloss usually makes decent stuff, but this one just does not work as claimed.

doesn't work
I have followed instructions and can't get this to work. Looks good when wet but when it dries the stains come back. I'm applying in 90 degree heat, maybe that's the problem?

Works as advertised!
This is the only product I've found to actually REMOVE white polish residue from trim. Other products like Mothers Back to Black only hide it temporarily and are harder to apply than this product. Nothing is worse than spending time to "hide" wax residue, only for it to come back after a few rainy days or car washes. This product comes with a shoe polish type applicator making it painless to apply. You'll need to add some elbow grease with a separate rag and might even need to run through the process a few times but trust this product!
