CARPRO Descale is an acidic car shampoo that will simultaneously clean your car of contaminants AND remove hard minerals and water spots! CARPRO Descale is perfect if you live in an area with notoriously hard water! CARPRO Descale was designed for use on coated cars that have a build-up of minerals on top of the coating, but CARPRO Descale is a versatile car shampoo that can be used for different purposes too! While not intended to be used as a weekly wash, CARPRO Descale will quickly and effectively strip your paint of all minerals and road film!
CARPRO Descale was initially designed as a simple and effective way to clean contaminants and minerals off of coated cars. Ceramic coatings are resilient and won't easily succumb to contamination and mineral build-up. However, when these substances are left to sit and bake on top of the coating, they prevent water beading/sheeting by reducing the surface tension of the coated surface. They will also cause the surface to become rougher, and since gloss comes from how smooth the surface is, this means the surface will look a lot duller. The acids in CARPRO Descale work to dissolve the mineral and film build-up, helping to even out the surface and restore the surface tension of the coated surface!
There are other situations that CARPRO Descale can be a HUGE help though! CARPRO Descale can be used to strip a neglected car of minerals and old waxes/sealants to prep it for decontamination or paint correction. If you jump right to decontamination or paint correction after using a traditional car shampoo to wash a neglected car, you risk needing to use more abrasion than you would otherwise need. And since more abrasion means needing to remove more of the already scarce clear coat, you want to do everything you can to avoid that! By using CARPRO Descale to wash the car first, you are greatly reducing the need to manually abrade those substances off the surface, saving clearer coat!

CARPRO Descale is ideal for those who have coated cars. By using CARPRO Descale once every 3 months, you will be able to routinely rid the mineral and road film build-up over your coating! You didn't coat your car only to have it look dull and not sheet dirt and water! Use CARPRO Descale to maintain the performance of your coating!
Directions:
Bucket Wash: Dilute 1:100 with water.
Foam Sprayer or Spray Bottle: Dilute 1:10 with water.
Light Contamination:
- Apply Descale as a snow foam using a foam sprayer.
- Allow it to dwell on the surface for as long as possible without letting it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Follow up with a hand wash if necessary.
Heavy Contamination:
- Wash the vehicle panel by panel, starting with horizontal surfaces.
- Apply Descale directly to each panel.
- Allow it to dwell without drying.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
