Anyone that has used a 2nd generation Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher knows that power has never been a problem, so Griot’s Garage focused on redesigning the casing of the polisher to make it more comfortable to hold during extended polishing sessions. The adjustable handle is still there, but they added a rubberized grip to make it easier to hold on to. The housing now features molded hand and finger grips along with a domed, rubberized palm grip. The speed control dial and power switch were also moved to more convenient locations. All of these features add up to a significantly improved polisher that will surely inspire you to have fun in your garage!
The features that made the 2nd generation 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher so successful are still there, including the powerful 7 amp, 850 watt motor that ensures the pad rotates under almost any amount of pressure. The random orbit motion of the pad prevents heat from building up in one spot. Less heat is produced by the polisher and due to the random orbit motion, less heat is transferred to your paint.

Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher includes a 6 inch hook and loop backing plate. This backing plate is designed to accommodate 6.5 inch pads from Griot’s Garage, Lake Country, Cobra, and Meguiars.
