3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs are designed for very fine finishing of new paint. The polyester film discs level minor dust nibs and mismatched orange peel to create an even, smooth finish. Follow with 3M professional polishes to create maximum gloss.

The fine grade finishing discs cut fast, resist loading and leave behind a consistent finish. 3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs can also be used in scuff sanding before painting. The very fine finish allows the paint to lay flat and adhere properly.

3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs feature the Hookit backing system. Use them with Lake Country 2 7/8 inch Flexible Backing Plate with the DA Adapter. The use of a DA polisher will ensure that the disc does not burn through the paint.

Cleanup is easy with the 3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs. Simply wipe off the blended area with a lint-free towel, like the Cobra Microfiber Detail Cloth.

Before or after painting, 3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs level light imperfections easily and quickly.
