Clay Disc for the Polishin’ Pal (Disc Only)

Detailing clay and Polishin' Pal sold separately.

Get a handle on detailing clay!

The Polishin’ Pal works with detailing clay! The Polishin’ Pal Clay Disc enables you to clay without getting clay residue or lubricant on your hands. One side of the disc has hook & loop material to attach to the Polishin’ Pal. The other side of the disc is smooth and slightly sticky in order to hold the clay.

The Polishin’ Pal makes detailing by hand easier and cleaner! You could clay the old fashioned way with a clay bar, but you get clay lubricant all over your hands and the clay will get slick. The Polishin’ Pal Clay Disc makes it possible to detail by hand without the mess. Just hold onto the polyurethane handle and your hands will stay clean.

Aside from being neater than old-fashioned claying, the Clay Disc allows you to use a larger surface of the clay. The average 2 oz. clay bar is approximately 3” x 1.5”. If you use it in block form, you’re only using 4.5” of surface area.

The Clay Disc is 3.5” in diameter. By spreading 2 oz. of clay over the entire disc and holding it by the Polishin’ Pal, you’re using 9.61” of total surface area. Not to bore you with the math, but using the Polishin’ Pal Clay Disc doubles the amount of clay that is in contact with your vehicle at one time. Not to mention, the ergonomic, polyurethane handle is easier to grasp than a slippery piece of clay. You’ll cover more paint in less time and it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll drop the clay.

To use:
Stick the clay disc to the Polishin’ Pal using the hook & loop side of the disc. Flatten approximately 2 oz. of clay into a round patty and press it on the disc. Spray a 2 square foot area of your vehicle with clay lubricant. Holding onto the handle, glide the clay back and forth across the wet area. You may feel the clay grab at first. Keep rubbing until it glides smoothly. At this point, the paint is clean. Wipe off any clay residue and continue to the next section. Check the clay often; if it is soiled, reshape it to reveal a clean portion.

The Clay Disc for the Polishin’ Pal will enable you to clay more efficiently without getting your hands dirty! Get a handle on detailing clay!

Perfect!
If you're looking at this, you probably already have the Polishin' Pal. Don't think twice. Buy the Clay Discs immediately. I will never clay another car without these discs coupled with my Polishin' Pal. Absolutely recommended.
ProsClay sticks very well; appropriately sized for Polishin' Pal.
ConsClay sticks a little too well?? Not sure that's a con, but there you go.

Works well.... once.
Good product but too pricey for a one shot deal. I would buy again if the price came done. $10.00 for two discs is a total rip off.

Works once only
These would have been good if you get let's say 200 of those at the price you are paying for 2. It only works once and after that the hook part separates from the the surface that you attach the clay to. Happened to both discs for me from the first time. I now use them without that polishing pal, just so that the clay won't stick on my fingers.

Clay Disc Separation
I like the idea of using the polishing pal for the clay bar. There is much less tendancy to drop the pal vs. the bar. The only trouble is the hook and loop peice separates from the smooth surface where the clay is attached. That issues makes it a $10 dollar throw away item. Too pricey for me
