Water and grime can’t stick to Rain Clear!

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel keeps auto glass clean, clear and nearly dry! The repellant coating seals out water and grime to give you a clear view of the road ahead. You’ll wonder how you ever drove in a rain shower without Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel.

Glass Science is made by the same company that developed RainX®. Unelko, parent company of Glass Science, sold RainX® in 1997 but continued their research and development of glass care products, making new leaps in "preventative cleaning" technology. Today, Glass Science offers the best glass protection available for automobiles!

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel seals the glass with a water-repellant coating. The invisible coating repels rain, sleet, and snow to maintain a high level of visibility, even in adverse weather. This slick, sealed glass also reduces the adhesion of ice, snow, bugs, bird droppings, and grime. Even water spots are reduced because minerals just can’t stick.

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel makes auto glass easier to clean, and easier to keep clean. Use it on your vehicle, boat, motorcycle, RV, and in your home.

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel is VOC-free, solvent-free, non-combustible, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. Because there are no solvents, it achieves amazing durability. For continuous glass protection, we suggest applying Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel once a month.

Rain Clear Rain Repellent Gel is made by the inventor of RainX!

Rain Clear Rain Repellent Gel dries to a perfectly clear protective coating on all glass and clear plastic.

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel protects glass and keeps it clean, but it also keeps you safe by improving your visibility while driving. Rain beads up immediately and rolls off the glass. Your windshield will stay clear!

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel uses patented technology to keep your windshield and windows clean and clear. Use it every 30 days to maintain optimum clarity and visibility while you drive.

Long lasting
It has been my experience that Rain-X has to be applied so frequently that it just isn't worth the effort. Usually in the winter I have too apply Rain-X every other day. With Rain Clear, which does take longer to apply, but then I don't have to touch the windshield for another three weeks. Here in Oregon that's well worth the extra work to apply.
ProsLong Lasting

Excellent results
For several years I have used Rain Clear gel on the windshields of my sport fishing boat, especially on trips to the Bahamas (where I am now) with amazing results. Both fresh water (rain and boat wash) and more importantly salt water spray bead up and slide off. Yesterday I mentioned to my wife that I hardly ever even use windshield wipers any more because this product helps maintain visibility. It is not difficult to apply and requires very little wipe off or polish after application. At least based on my experience, ignore the reviews that tell you how awful it is. Personally, I have begun ignoring any product reviews with certain words such as "junk," "crap," and the like. They all sound childishly the same.
ProsEasy to apply Provides intended results
ConsHard to find locally

Does as intended
I've been using Glass Science products for a couple of years and have been pleased with their performance. This product is no different. It sheets water off the windshield very effectively and at times I don't have to use the wipers because the rain flows off of the windshield so easily.
ProsEasy to put on. Economical (a little goes a long way). Lasts about 3 months or so (Florida climate). Extreme water beading.
ConsCan be a bit of a chore to remove. Requires an extra wipe-down step to finish the application.

Please read Jordan's review. He pretty much hit the nail on the head. This stuff is crap, and that's being polite.

So much better than Rainex
I have used this produt for years and It is great. It protects my glass from acid rain spots a it works great as a detailers trick. Polished glass finishes the job.

I've used various products on my own personal vehicle, and found that this one is the WORST when it comes to application time. It took me over 30min to apply and wipe off. It does not wipe on, buff clear, or off easily for it requires a "firm, circular, overlapping" motion. 'Firm' is an understatement, for I had to use a little tooo much elbow grease if you ask me. For standard experimental purposes, I test in a completely shaded area as well as on a cool, completely clean of oil, grease, and grime free windshield. Follow every instruction, and you'll find that it is extremely DIFFICULT and FRUSTRATING all throughout the gel process. Can be and is messy to work with. Get the gel on your hands and see how long it takes to wash off, not to mention if on the car's paint, and after you've washed it! Yea, I know it means that rain will not wash it off easily, but it's not worth the hassle. I have not driven in the rain to see if rain really "repels off at 45mph" but again, not worth the hassle. I have however, sprayed with the water hose (had to spray just to get the stubborn nasty oil like haze it leaves behind since it didn't leave "smooth and sparkling" with just a paper towel) and yes the product does work, but again, not worth the hassle. Fortune cookie say, "It's not worth strangling the chicken to get the egg". Could and would easily use another less frustrating, more cleaner, less difficult product to get the SAME results QUICKER. We are all pressed for time for time is money. I'm sure that this product will not be on store shelves long for we all will see it's not a good investment. BUYER BEWARE; DO NOT BUY, GO WITH ANOTHER.
