Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus New Formula!

New formula is thicker, easier to apply, and it lasts longer!

Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus is a new polymer coating that can be applied to most flexible surfaces (vinyl and rubber) and hard surfaces (plastic and metal) to coat, seal, protect and beautify. No ordinary “dressing” lasts as long or protects as well against pollution, ultra violet light (sun), road salts, harmful ozone, creosote and more.

The long lasting Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus formula protects for months, not days or weeks. This space age coating will not wash off. On glossy trim it maintains the shine and prevents corrosion. On black trim it maintains a dark, satin appearance. You’ll see the protection with each wash by the way your tires and trim bead water.

Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus is a hyper-concentrated formula. A single 12 ounce bottle is enough product to properly treat your tires and trim for a full year. A small amount of Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus goes a long way to coat, seal, protect and beautify tires, wheels (painted, chrome, polished), bumper trim, plastic grills, fascia, valances, rocker panels and the engine compartment. Our super durable formula protects for months, but you may apply it as frequently as you like.

Version one better
Poor. Discolors paint next to trim. Dust Magnet. Version one was usable for trim. This one maybe on tires.

Good Product, Works as advertised
I'm happy with the results. After one application the medium faded trim looks like new. The severely faded trim like the cowl looks decent now. One thing I was surprised about and was just trying was applying it to my headlights. I have restored my headlights several times from sun damaged but they never really looked new again. I applied the this trim restore on it and they look almost new again.
ProsWork well with just one application. Easy application Removes dry wax stuck in the pores of the rubber/plastic trim

Great shine after three weeks
So I haven't reached the fully four week mark that I am hoping to get to with this product but so far the product is working as advertised. It turned my gray dull plastic back to the full black luster of the original wheel flares that came on the jeep. After lasting the first week it beat all the other competitor products that I have used so far. Very Impressed.
ProsBack to black, need I say more?
ConsCan be streaky when you apply. After applying with ample product in a straight line it came out smooth.

A step up in trim care!
This stuff is better than anything I have found in the auto parts stores. I put it on my plastic exterior trim and tires. The look and feel on the trim is amazing! It's only been about 10 days but I have driven in the rain twice and it still looks and feels like it was put on yesterday. Can't wait to see how long it last. Doesn't seem to have as dramatic effect on the tires. I do like the fact that it doesn't shine like other tire dressings I've used. When I first applied it the tires looked rich but it seem to dull some after a few days. I will try another coat.
ProsBest look and feel of any trim dressing I've tried. (I've detailed my own vehicles for over 35 years)
Consa little pricey but worth it.

This stuff is amazing! Used this stuff on a Dodge Challenger's exterior black plastic trim and rubber seals and its so easy to use. Pre Cleaned the area's using DP's All Purpose Exterior cleaner, dried the area and using just a few drops massaged this into the trim. No streaks, haze or oily feel you get with other trim products. I've used Mothers Back to Black, Surf City Garage Black Max, Turtle Wax, and Meguiars ultimate black. This stuff is head and shoulders above all those. Bird bomb on some rear tail light trim (textured black plastic) and it sat on there for a few days. Finally got around to washing and one hit with the spotless rinse and it came right off. Water beads and blows away.
ConsIs not a all in one. Needs a separate cleaner.

arsenal staple
Use disposable gloves when applying or you will regret the long, sticky clean-up. This stuff is no WOWO walk away OTC goo. It requires attentive application, more akin to brush strokes than simply wiping. A smaller, inexpensive foam pad might allow better control, more precise and even coating while minimizing over-spreading to painted panels. Even so, with proper preparation, it remains one of the best coatings available for durability and use on extensive plastic trim that clad modern vehicles.
Prosversatile - will work on all plastic trim pieces. lasts as long as any other dressing. both a restorative and protective product, so cost-effective.
Consprice. tacky residue. best applied as an LSP on vehicle detail, so time consuming when tired & achy.

Last and last
Great product. I use this on my Mini Cooper which has lots of trip. It keeps it looking new and last through several washes and rain. If you have a car with lots of trip use this to keep it looking new. It's not going to make faded trip that has been neglected look new and it's not a high gloss product, but it does keep trim dark and does not wash away. And a little goes a long way. Comes with a great applicator too. Highly recommended!!

Great struff
This product is amazing. I put this is my tires, trim, and even wheels. Two car washes (pressure only) it still beads but doesn't discolor. I did try using it on my motorcycle trim that was really faded, but it just coated the area. If you need to return badly faded areas, use a different product first, then use Ultima to maintain it. Or better yet, use Ultima from the very beginning.

The Best
This is by far the best exterior trim dressing I have ever used. Very easy to apply and buff off, and lasts a solid 3-4 months. I apply it to plastic on side mirrors, crowling, and rear bumper and it keeps the trim looking AMAZING. It is expensive but this bottle should last years if you are only using it for trim as you only need very little. Would not recommend for tires, however.

Excellent Product!
This product worked amazingly on my '04 Ford Ranger. As I'm sure some of you other Ranger owners know the bumper and other exterior is very prone to white discoloration. My vehicle in particular had this very badly and this product took care of it like no other. I have included a link to a picture I took that shows exactly how well this product actually works. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me!

Ultima Tire Trim Guard Plus
While this product may seem expesnive it really lasts a long time. It lasts a long time and it doesn't take much product either. I love to use this on all the plastic trim on my truck and it really keeps it looking new and lasts months before I need to reapply.

Use it time and time again
This is one of those products that EVERY detailer needs in their arsenal. I have not seen a better finishing, longer lasting, no mess trim product than this. Until something better is above this stuff, I will always have some on hand.

excellent stuff
I always used to use mother's back to black for my exterior trim, but this stuff blows that out of the water. It not only takes less to get the same effect, it lasts longer and looks much much better. It seems to work well on wheels as well but tires are more of a matte look then the wet look. Overall I love this product!!

top notch
Wow!!! This is by far the best trim dressing I have ever, I mean ever used. I applied this to a test vehical that was out in all types of environment, with excellent results. Beads water like a force field, for about a month. Let me tell you, this if beyond "black wow". Buy it, you will not be disappointed. little goes a very long way.

The Very Best for Trim
I've been screaming from the rooftops about this product for over a year. A few of us have known how incredible it was for a long time but lately people are listening and it has become the undisputed winner by all that have tried it.

Very impressive!
I used this product on my tires. After scrubbing my tires with APC twice to clean them as best i could, i applied two coats of UTTG with a terry cloth (i want to save the supplied foam applicator for use on trim). It gave the tires a light shine, just enough for my tastes, and the application was very even. It repels water nicely. Some dust still does cling to my tires, but now washing is a breeze, no need for APC or heavy scrubbing. I cant comment on durability yet. Please note that it smells of solvents, use in well ventilated area. Also despite my initial cleaning, the terry cloth was stained black and it does not wash out, so it is best to use a rag. I will be applying this to all my trim and expect excellent results. To the people who are scared by the price: a little goes a long way! I used a little over half an ounce for two applications on 4 tires.

Unmatched durability
UTTG is a new product to me that I tried after reading a lot of great reviews. The durability of this product is amazing, it is nearly impossible to remove but that's a very good thing. It is important to apply this product very sparingly and thinly coat trim. I found the included applicator to be too big and thick so I used a yellow foam applicator. If there is any streaking come back and buff with a microfiber towel and the results will look outstanding. UTTG has good darkening abilities, and incredible durability.

This product has properties unlike other dressings ive used. It really seems to become part of the trim rather than sit on top of it. BUY THIS!

Best Trim Dressing Ivee tried to date!
Agree with both previous posters. I prefer Opti Bond on tires and you can almost buy a gallon for the cost of this. It is much better than Poor Boys or CG as a trim dressing as for durability goes. I havent Megs new Ultimate Protectant yet but will soon.

Excellent for Trim
This is hands down the best TRIM dressing Ive ever tried. I cant say enough good things about it as a trim dressing. It isnt the best TIRE dressing Ive ever tried but its the second best. The first being Opti-bond. Im sure this will be more durable than the Opti-bond but I like the way OB looks more than this on tires. I have a feeling this will do better on low profile tires rather than big 31" tires that I tried it on. 9/10!

Best Trim Dressing
I've tried so many trim dressing and was never satisfied till I used UTTGP. It's been 3 months on my wiper cowl. That area takes the most beating cause of the standing water. Still has a nice black sheen. Beats Black Wow as it dries clean to the touch.
