It is for this purpose that the SCANGRIP I-Match II was created to be one of the brightest and intense lights available. The SCANGRIP I-Match II boasts an illuminance rating of 300 lux in the low setting and 500 lux in the high setting. In addition to being extremely bright, it also has a correlated color temperature (CCT) higher than the sun itself! The SCANGRIP I-Match II has a CCT of 4500K in the low setting and 6500K in the high setting. This makes it ideal for detecting the slightest imperfection in your paint's surface.
Detailing is mostly an outside job, making the possibility of damage to your tools pretty high. SCANGRIP realized this when they were developing the SCANGRIP I-Match II and equipped it with an incredibly durable casing that will allow it to take a beating and keep on working perfectly! The SCANGRIP I-Match II has an Ingress Protection of IP65, meaning it is protected from any dust and water you run into during your detailing process. The SCANGRIP I-Match II also has an Impact Protection rating of IK07, so you can drop it while detailing without fear!
The 3.8V/1600 mAh lithium polymer battery that powers the SCANGRIP I-Match II has a battery life of up to 5 hours, giving you plenty of time to do a whole detail without ever turning your light off!
