Worked extremely well
I had both application and adhesion issues with Optimum Tire Protection Coating on a new set of tires, and Optimum T.A.R. was able to remove the coating. Granted it took a significant amount of scrubbing with a tire brush and 4-5 applications/rounds of the product to do so. No fault of T.A.R. there due to TPC being a strong long lasting tire coating, but T.A.R. was strong enough to remove it. Optimum recommended T.A.R. as the best way remove the coating and it worked great to do so.

I also sprayed it on a few sections on the lower fenders of my car with tar build up, and T.A.R. was able to break down and remove the tar after a rinse without extra scrubbing with a towel, mitt, or soft brush. I did not notice any kind of offensive smell (or any smell at all) if anyone is sensitive to chemical odors.

The only tar remover you need
This stuff is amazing! Body shop safe, smells better than most tar removers and does great on tar, sap and adhesives. Best of all like all Opti products you don't need much!
