I'm a professional detailer, and have relied on steaming upholstery for a long time. There are some jobs, though, that require more than vapor steam to resolve. After many months (3 years actually) of contemplating the purchase, I finally pulled the trigger on a Mytee extractor. The fact that the Mytee Lite III addressed some of the problems and shortcomings of the Lite II helped in my decision. I've used the extractor on two vehicles so far, both with very soiled fabric upholstery and carpet. It performed as advertised, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.
ProsLightweight, one power cord, excellent cleaning ability. Affordable price.
ConsWater heater needs a little time between passes to keep the water hot. Just be patient, take your time... it is very effective at cleaning soiled upholstery. I've only had it a month, so I can't speak to the machine's on-going reliability, but from what I can tell spare parts are readily available.

The product itself is a good product, we have started working with it. However, it does more than 5-7 mins for the water to warm up and you have to fill the tank up all the way for it to work most efficiently.
Works great with car detailing
Best Price I was able to find, I received free shipping. Most other places were cheaper however their shipping costs were outrageous.
ConsInstruction manual is not the best

Compared to steam cleaning with a dinky steamer, this thing works magic.

I use this Little GIANT for auto detailing, home furniture cleaning, and small carpet jobs. This machine is THE MOST powerfull extractor, I have ever used! The only extractor that is close is a Truck Mount extractor! The old Texas slang is, "It will suck a water melon through a garden hose!"
ProsMost powerful extraction on the market! Small nimble, simple to use Protected power switches very well grounded to prevent electrical shock. large rear wheels to move on concrete, carpet, of asphalt. Designed for easy maintenance, Access to pump and vacuum Very well designed. The quick to open Vacuum hatch has access to the vacuum filter that can be easily cleaned. The high pressure Water pump is Very powerful and rubber mounts make it so quiet, it's hard to tell if it's even on. The design with the basket to hold your cleaning Pre-sprays, and hooks to wind up the power cord when stored. I love the LIGHTED power Cord too!
ConsVery tiny front wheels are difficult to move on rough surfaces, but the back wheels are perfect. There is NO inline filter from the fresh water tank, to the Water pump, so if ANY tiny particles of debris will SEIZE UP the diaphragm in the pump. This was easily fixed with a $5.00 inline, clear fuel filter. The fix was done in less than 3 minutes, with the EASY access to the pump and heater. the drain is too close to the power switches.

Great water pressure; light/portable; vaccum sucks sucks sucks!: great heater; etc. NO negatives! My focus has been on exteriors and my weakness was always interiors. This year, I decided to do something about it. Get a Tornador Black, and a Mytee 8070. Revolutionized my interior cleaning quality and speed. Love this machine. If you can't afford one right now and you detail ... well, you simply can't do without it. Would recommend to all detailers. I have a wealthy daughter and son-in-law; and they bought this for me. That is why this review might not show up as purchasing from Autogeek.
ConsNo negatives. Period.

Works as expected
So far the machine works as we would expect it to. Look forward to getting into some of our deeper projects with this machine with the Virginia Clay in carpets. Cut our cleaning time in half.
ProsWorks fast once heated up.
ConsNot easy to move on gravel driveways

great machine for any detail business!
Just got my 8070 and I have to admit it holds up very well. No need to steam and blot soiled areas. Lifts stains faster than my old rug doctor and has enough heat to effectively disinfect and kill odor causing bacteria. This is definitely a detail must have item, great investment.
A Detailer's Necessity
Aurora Professional Auto Detail
Where to start, this machine has paid for itself in no time since being implemented
hottest water to remove stubborn stains
powerful suction leaves area almost dry (95%)
easy to assemble/disassemble (less than 5mins)
hose gets extremely hot, burn hazard (should've insulated better)
cheap plastic housing (melted around quick disconnect water hose portion, female side)
Overall worth it, just remember to wear protective gloves to avoid being burned. Or wrap hose in towels, your choice

Great Extractor For Mobile Detailing
I have been detailing for almost two decades & have used about a dozen different extractors & by far recommend the Mytee Lite II for mobile detailers or the weekend warrior. It has a great heater, good pressure & decent vacuum all on one cord. It keeps up with some of the bigger two cord units that I have used. I've had it for almost 6 months of frequent use, just keeping it clean & using system maintainer about once a month and no issues so far!
Got to love it
We use this little mytee to clean upholstery at our movie theater chain. We also use it to clean stair carpet a little at a time. We haven't tried putting it to its limit but we do a theater a night worth of stair carpet. Of course its perfect as a quick spotter after drinks of food is spilled. Its a great addition to our larger machines. As the guy above me stated it does liquify gummy bears, milk duds, jr. mints ect. I do recommend using gloves though as the fittings get extemely hot.
Worth Every Penny
The unit performs as advertised. I've been able to reduce my time spent per car, my chemical cost, and my elbow grease. The cars look better, and the mytee lite really does a great job of deoderizing as well. I've also found a few other uses for it; the hot water heater can be used to get stubborn dirt out of jambs, wheels, and hood undersides. Just let plain water heat up and then spray the soiled area, and the hot water is a huge help. I would recommend this item to serious detailer.
I've been using this unit almost daily for about a month now and it continues to impress. Good heat, easy set-up, and it works great. The tank is usually large enough to do an entire vehicle, though a larger and dirtier SUV may require a refill. Good product...cuts my carpet cleaning time in half. Already paid for itself.

bought this exact extractor about 6 months ago. it works great and does what it says. only gripe is that the handle that you squeeze to dispense water has flopped down and gets into the way when in small spaces like footrests. the stuff i pour out after cleaning is eyeopening. liquid gummy bears anyone?
