Apply the polish to the pad and spread over the paint with the machine turned off to prevent splatter. When you're ready, work the polish side to side and up and down until a nice gloss appears. |

Application by Machine:
- Make sure the surface to be polished is clean and dry. Fresh paint should be fully cured. Apply Menzerna Medium Cut Polish out of direct sunlight.
- Use a soft foam polishing pad, like Lake Country’s CCS White Polishing Pad or Green Polishing/Finishing Pad. Apply a bead of Medium Cut Polish to the pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish over about a 2 x 2 sq. ft. area.
- Polish at 1500-2000 RPM (4-5 on a dual action polisher) working slowly across and then up and down the area. Check your work after several passes to see if the swirls have been removed. If so, reduce the pressure and continue buffing until a high gloss is achieved. If the pad becomes dry, mist it with water and continue buffing.
- Wipe the area with a damp Cobra Microfiber Towel.
- Always apply a wax or sealant after polishing. We recommend Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 to seal in the shine with its long-lasting polymer formula.

Q: Can I use this polish by hand? A: For best results, it is highly recommended to use Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 with a dual-action (DA) or rotary polisher. While it can be used by hand, a machine polisher will ensure the abrasives break down properly and provide a more uniform, swirl-free finish.
Q: Is this product a compound or a polish? A: It is a medium-cut polish. It has more cutting power than a finishing polish but is less aggressive than a heavy compound. This makes it perfect for one-step paint correction on most vehicles with light-to-moderate imperfections.
Q: What is the difference between this polish and Menzerna SF 3500? A: Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 has more cutting power and is designed to remove defects. SF 3500 is a super finishing polish with almost no cutting ability, designed to create the highest level of gloss and clarity after a correction step.
Q: Will this polish remove deep scratches? A: No. Menzerna 2500 is designed for light-to-moderate imperfections. For deeper scratches that catch your fingernail, you will need to start with a more aggressive compound, such as Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400.
