Why choose between looking good and having durable protection?

Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant is a professional grade SiO2-based sealant. Because Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant is ceramic based, this product allows for self-cleaning, water beading and a slick surface. With Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant you will get long-lasting, high-performance protection across your vehicle’s surfaces including paint protection films, but still won’t discolor trim or harm decals. Sealants provide excellent layers of protection, but sometimes you just want a little more. Where do you turn when you want a product that protects, has hydrophobicity and promotes a glossy and slick surface? You need a ceramic coating and/or an SiO2 sealant, both of which can be found in Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant.

The main desire when applying a sealant is protection. Ceramic coatings, also known as SiO2 sealants, are the best of the best when it comes to protection. The unique hybrid coating of Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant has this ceramic, SiO2-based protection, giving way to self-cleaning, water beading and high-performance protection. It is the most durable layer of protection you could ask for, all while keeping a slick surface. Making your car look great is where Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant quite literally, shines. This product provides incredible gloss and slickness, even on paint protection film. But don’t worry, it will just make the paint look good! It won’t stain or discolor your trim and it won’t ruin any decals. Plus, thanks to its self-leveling properties, the product will settle on its own and allow for even more gloss.

Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant can be used in many ways: by hand, random orbital polisher or DA polisher. The same process works for all three. You apply a thin layer in an overlapping motion, allow the product to cure for 2-5 minutes and then buff away with a microfiber towel. Don’t worry if after your final wipe you see a slight haze or film remain. This is because of Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant self-leveling technology, so it may take up to 15 minutes for the product to self-level. This will allow the product to maximize gloss and protection.

It’s important to note a few things about Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant before you get to work. Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant is NOT body shop safe. Meaning this product does contain silicones. Paint will not stick to a surface with silicones and in turn, that can create fisheyes or distortions in your paint. However, Meguiar’s M27 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant is safe to use on paint (when dried), wraps and protective films. Although, it may be cause unwanted gloss to matte finishes.

Just an excellent product!!!
I wrote a more detailed review of M27 on the 16oz size, I liked it so much I bought the gallon!!!
There is a sea of incredible detailing products today, you can't go wrong with anything today. I have been a Meguiars fan formany many years, they have been around a very long time and do know about the detailing world as good as anybody out there. But I have been buying from other brands lately as there is soooo much great stuff out there. Saying that, I went with M27 for my main protection on my vehicles. And more than happy I did, just an amazing product in every way. The gloss is off the charts, so easy on/off, seems to be holding up protection high level, and smells great working with it - that may sound like a minor plus, but if a product smells awful working with it, you just wanna get it done and finish. A product fun to work with is part of the enjoyment.
I wash with Megs new Hybrid Ceramic Wash and top with M799 and sometimes Ceramic Spray wax. Being all Megs they all play nice together.
Not a full on ceramic coating, or a wax, this competes with products like Jescar Ultra Lock and Wolfgang si02 sealant I think, and I feel anynof the 3 are winners. But being able to walk into any store if running low to grab Megs soap and spray wax makes it easy to keep my coating topped up and fresh. I am more than happy with M27, I think it's Megs best coat, wax or sealant, they have yet.
I bought my gallon from AG on BF sales, it was easy and quick dealing with AG. Shipping was fast with tracking # right away. Opened well packaged box and also had a 'thank you for dealing with us' card from AG, just a simple appreciation not a promotion or other sales note. It was a nice touch.
ProsCrazy nice gloss, very easy on/off, seems to protect really well - holding up nicely after a couple months now, other Megs si02 products play nice to help keep it fresh, smell really is a great smell working with it - garage smells great for a day or 2 after, priced very competitive, and can get it 1yoz or a gallon. AG sales make it a real bargin.
ConsI have only been working with it for under a year at this time (this being almost end of 2021 atm) so right now I have found no cons. I am really happy all around with M27, I think it holds up well amoung the products out there. If there was a con, maybe that people could overlook past M27 for how good it is. It isn't a fullon ceramic coating but doesn't market as such, it competes well against it's level of products.
