Washing Procedure
Step 1: Prep & Dilution

Place a Grit Guard Insert into the bottom of both your wash bucket (for soap) and your rinse bucket (for clean water).

Fill your rinse bucket with clean, fresh water.

In the wash bucket, mix the solution: Use one ounce of Meguiar's Shampoo Plus per one gallon of water.
Step 2: Pre-Rinse

Thoroughly rinse the entire vehicle with a strong stream of water to dislodge and remove loose dirt and heavy surface contaminants before contact washing.
Step 3: Contact Wash

Dip your Cobra Supreme Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt into the wash solution.

Wash one section of the vehicle (e.g., roof, then hood) using straight, overlapping passes. DO NOT scrub.

After each section, plunge the mitt into the rinse bucket, aggressively rubbing it against the Grit Guard Insert to release trapped dirt particles.

Wring out the mitt in the rinse bucket, then re-saturate it in the soap bucket and continue to the next panel. This two-bucket method prevents swirl marks.
Step 4: Rinse

Rinse the washed section thoroughly with clean water, removing all suds and residue.

Professional Finishing Rinse: After the final rinse, remove the spray nozzle from your hose and allow a gentle, free-running sheet of water to flow over the vehicle's surface. This "sheeting" action will push the remaining water off the paint, drastically reducing the amount of water left behind and cutting your drying time in half.
Step 5: Dry
