Good for a light cut
If you want to remove light to medium paint contamination this is the product.
Great for glass
With Meguiar's new line of SMAT products and 105/205 being the go to combo, it may seems as if older Meguiar's products aren't worth buying. Not true. The larger abrasives in the DAT products are better for glass. I just got down using #2 on a 2008 Ford Taurus where the glass was heavily water spotted and felt like sand paper going over it with a towel. Clay didn't work at all, so I busted out some #2 on a 4" Lake County Orange CCS pad, turned on the Griot's 6" to 4, and let it go. Two passes was all it took to make the glass, well, smooth as glass. This product will forever stay in my bag of goodies.
I've been using this stuff for several years now and each time I use it is amazes me. It will remove fine scratches and vastly improve the appearance of deeper ones. Scuffs and other defects certainly have a much better appearance after use. I use it with a foam or wool pad (depending on how abrasive I want it to be) and an orbital buffer and always have excellent results. The resulting finish is smooth and has a mirror-like shine.
