Step 1—Clean Meguiar’s #17 Plastic Cleaner penetrates, lifts, and loosens grime and grunge that seems to have adhered permanently to the plastic—don’t give up before you’ve tried #17! Even the stubborn dirt that embeds itself deep in hairline scratches can’t hold up to #17. Going beyond the job description of a mere “cleaner,” #17 removes fine, hairline scratches and minor blemishes while cleaning! Using a foam applicator apply a quarter-sized amount to the pad. Gently massage cleaner into the plastic. Agitate in circular motions to break the bond between the grime and the plastic. When you’re satisfied, use a clean microfiber towel to buff away residue and reveal an astoundingly clean surface. The freshly cleaned surfaces are sparkling and primed--ready for the polishing step.

Step 2—Polish Meguiar’s #10 Plastic Polish, is every bit as important, if it’s like-new, invisible plastic you desire. The polish does just that—it polishes away anything that stands in the way of optical clarity. Edges and blemishes are smoothed out, perfecting the surface. Special additives eliminate static electricity in the plastic. When you’ve completed Meguiar’s #17 and #10 prescription for not-so-clear plastic, all symptoms of cloudiness, haze, scratches and yellowing—gone! Apply the polish the same way you used the cleaner, working in manageable sections. Buff away all residues. The result is sparkling, crystal clear plastic!

Works great!
I finally decided it was time to get the haze and scratches off the back hard-plastic window of my 1996 Corvette convertible. Wasn't sure anything would do the job. But I got online, found these products and ordered them. They worked great. My back window now looks brand new again. Also used it on the headlights of the Vette and my other cars. Works great for that too. At this price, you can't go wrong.
ConsNot sure the polish is absolutely necessary or what it's supposed to accomplish, but what the heck, I used it after getting the scratches/haze off.
Aircraft Plastic Windshields
This is absolutely the best product for removing bugs and light scratches and swirls in clear plastic windshields on any type aircraft. The cleaner must be followed with the polish in order to protect the plastic surface and provide a rain removal surface. I have used these products with great success
