McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer is a gentle glass polish that safely restores clarity to windshields and windows. It’s the ultimate solution to water spots and cloudy glass. Use McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer on auto glass, shower doors, and household doors and windows.

Water spots are created when drops of water evaporates off the surface of your vehicle. All water contains minerals, including iron and calcium, and sometimes salt. Rain water contains all these things plus pollution. When the drop evaporates, these trace elements are left on your vehicle to etch the outline of the drop. They are the reason that water spots are permanent even though water is not. Because the spots are often etched into glass, cleaners cannot remove them.

McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer removes mild etched water spots from glass and restores perfect clarity. The unsightly cloud of water spots that exists on the windshield out of the wipers’ range can be removed!

McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer can also be used to remove water spots, sap, bug splatter, and films from chrome and windows. This citrus-based cleaner can safely loosen sticky contaminants so they wipe off easily. Your windshield will be restored to its original clarity.

McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer works by gently exfoliating the surface of the glass on a microscopic level. It does not scratch the glass. The thick cream safely pulls contaminants out of the glass, removes mineral deposits, and then smoothes out mildly etched glass until it is crystal clear. McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer safely restores the glass in the same way jewelers rouge polishes precious metals. Your vehicle’s windshield and windows will appear virtually invisible!

To prevent future water spots, clean your windows regularly and, if possible, dry your vehicle after it gets wet. Remember, water from sprinklers or water hoses can cause water spots, too. Carry a microfiber towel in the vehicle to at least dry the glass following a rain storm. A few minutes of preventative maintenance will save you time and effort in the future.

For the damage that has already been done, use McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer to remove water spots and mild mineral etching and to restore perfect clarity to windshields and windows.

  1. McKee's 37 High Performance Glass Restorer can be applied by hand or with a polisher. To apply by hand, pour a nickel size amount onto the orange side of the Wolfgang German Polish 'N Wax Applicator.
  2. Rub the product onto the glass in overlapping circular motions. Allow a haze to form. Buff the glass with a microfiber towel.
  3. To apply by machine, use a polishing pad on a variable speed polisher. We recommend using a dual action polisher because cutting is not needed to gently polish the glass.
  4. Work the polish into the glass at a low speed (no more than 3000 OPM) using minimal pressure. When the polish starts to dry, turn the machine off and lift it off the glass.
  5. Use a microfiber towel to wipe away the haze and buff the glass to a shine.

DP Glass Restorer
Does a great job of removing all the gunk from your windows. Have only tried by hand, I am sure that it would work better by machine.
ProsCheaper than many competitors and works better.

Glass Waterspot Removal
Used this to remove light waterspot etching from with windows and sunroof that would not come out despite using multiple glass cleaners, vinegar, and clay. Worked very well both manually on the smaller side windows using microfiber applicator and with Porter Cable DA & LC orange 3" pad for the sunroof and windshield. Results were fantastic, etching was removed, glass had no streaks or scratches.
ProsVery easy to use, quick & effective

Difficult to remove
I use and like many DP products but not the glass restorer. I followed the instructions used the orange side of a Wolfgang pad as recommended. The product was extremely difficult to remove. I tried using several different types of microfiber towels to remove the product, waffle weave, Griots glass towel and Uber window microfiber towels. The product left an extremely difficult to detect haze on the glass that took a lot of effort to remove.
Merchant Response:Hi Drew, The most common mistake made with this product is applying it too thick, or applying it to a warm or hot panel. A little bit goes a LONG way, so try using it sparingly and report back.

Seems to do the job.
It's taken several application of the product but it does seem to be getting the waterspots out. I think when my 2014 CR-V was prepped for delivery they let water dry on the windshield. The waterspots are obvious in early morning or later afternoon sun. they are diminishing.

Glass restorer not bad
However, wasn't able to completely remove water spots from my 2010 Silverado windows despite 2 applications and really hard scrubbing (no machine). Removed about 75% but you can still see the buggers. Need to try something more aggressive.

It really works!!!
I forgot to move my truck away from a sprinkler we have set up on a well. The windows were sprayed with the water which has a lot of different minerals in it. The iron content is so high it leaves a redish brown on things that get spayed by the water on a continuous basis. I thought a little elbow grease and some windex would help remove the water spots, nope. I tried a mixture of vinegar I had heard about, nope. I have always used Adam's products in the past, so I ordered Adam's Glass restorer. It made a difference and patially removed some of the spots but the spots were still there. I read a review from some one here on Autogeek that they too had tried Adam's but it did not remove the water spots ompletely but they purchased DP's Glass restorer and it worked great. So I ordered from Autogeek DP's Glass Restorer. Well I just received my order from UPS and went out to try a small spot on my truck window and to my amazment it took off almost every water spot with minimal effort, 1st try and then I applied a second application and it removed ALL the water spots. These spots were cooked in the 100+ degree heat here in Houston the last couple of weeks so they were inbedded on the windows. I can't tell you how happy I am to get these spots off my windows. I was begining to think they were here to stay forever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DP'S GLASS RESTORER without any reservations. You won't be disappointed, worth every penny. Also Autogeek sent me the 32oz. bottle for the price of the 16oz. bottle, why I can only guess because they were out of the 16oz size. Probably because it really works.
