Diamondite® Glass Cleaning System Kit
U.S. Patent No.7,282,100See clearly, drive safely.
Your vehicle is bombarded by pollution every day; acid rain, industrial fallout, rail dust, tree sap mist, tar, mineral deposits, and salt. A glass cleaner – even a good one – cannot remove contamination that has bonded and, in some cases, has become embedded in the glass. But the Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection System can.
The Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection System was the first glass cleaning kit to address not just the dirt on the outside of the glass, but also the debris lodged in the glass. Using first-of-its-kind Spray Clay, this kit cleans glass deep within its microscopic channels until it is once again as smooth as glass!
The Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection System includes:
The nucleus of the Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection System is Diamondite Spray Clay™. This product makes it easy for anyone to make a significant change in the appearance of dirty, aged auto glass. Using kaolin clay, Spray Clay™ bonds to contaminants, even oil, and completely removes them.
Kaolin clay is an ultra pure clay that naturally absorbs oil and collects dirt from any surface to which it is applied, including your skin. Kaolin clay is found in countless cosmetic products due to its cleansing properties. Diamondite applies those same properties to car care and the results are amazing.
Spray Clay pulls oil and dirt out of the glass’ “pores”, microscopic channels that collect debris and oil from the road. Combined with lubricants, kaolin clay deep cleans glass without scratching. Spray Clay™ removes oil, dirt, tar, tree sap mist, insects, industrial fallout, environmental contaminants, rail dust, mineral deposits, and more. The kaolin molecules grab and absorb foreign particles on the glass to leave it perfectly smooth and optically clear. Diamondite Spray Clay™ cleans without compounding, and it is acid and silicone-free. Simply stated, there is no other product like it.
The Speed Sponge enables Spray Clay™ to loosen and remove contaminants from the glass with greater ease. The lubricants in Spray Clay prevent scratches as the Speed Sponge helps erase water spots.
Glass and Surface Cleaner
Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner is a foaming aerosol cleaner super-charged with special detergents that target and remove embedded contaminants from the glass’ microscopic grooves. The foaming cleansers actively surround and lift oil and dirt deposits so they easily wipe away. Use Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner to prep the glass for Spray Clay™ and then following Spray Clay™ to remove any remaining residue. All glass cleaners are not made equal; Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner is in a league of its own when it comes to clean glass.
Diamondite Shield is a polymer protectant that seals fine scratches and chips to create a smooth, uniform surface. This coating increases visual acuity and provides scratch resistance against everyday threats, like sand and small stones. The polymers reduce surface friction to allow water to bead and roll off. You will experience better visibility in the rain and at night. The slick Shield also deters dirt and ice from bonding to the glass for easier removal. Diamondite Shield protects your windshield and windows from water spots and acid rain damage with a crystal clear, repellant coating. See clearly, drive safely.
Before you begin…
Clean the glass well with Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner and a Waffle Weave Glass Towel.
Step 1 – Spray Clay & Glass and Surface Cleaner
Shake the can of Spray Clay™ well. Invert the can and spay a line of Spray Clay™ about 1 ft. long across the glass. Use the Speed Sponge to spread the Spray Clay™, using very little pressure. Rub lightly back and forth over the Spray Clay. Let the clay dry to a haze and then buff off using a microfiber towel and Diamondite Glass and Surface Cleaner. Continue in this manner until you have cleaned all windows and the windshield.
Step 2 – Shield
Shake well. Spray the glass with a light coat of Diamondite Shield. Let the coating dry until tacky (about 5 minutes). Use a soft, clean microfiber towel to buff the glass until clean. If the glass is excessively hazy, remove Diamondite Shield with a damp towel and then buff dry. The coating will completely cure in 24 hours. Clean the glass regularly with Diamondite Glass & Surface Cleaner to prevent contaminants from sticking to the glass.
The Diamondite Glass Cleaning & Protection System will treat the glass on 5-6 vehicles.

The great PNW

Clean that glass or the only thing better than this, is brand new
I don't give many products five stars, but when I do, they are well worth eight. For years, I have been using the Diamdonite Glass Cleaning System Kit (about 2002) to clean my windshields, it is the only thing that I have sen, that works. I initially picked it up, when a windshield started looking like alligator skin (bad windshields are very common in the PNW) when it rained, & I was at wits end. I read the product description from the company I picked it up from, & it sounded like what I was after. It sure was!! I've washed more than my share of windshields, even using a mix of turpentine & acetone, for the deep down clean, so was surprised at how many steps were needed by this kit. I always follow the directions the first time, & am very glad that I did. Giving it a 24 hour curing time was the most difficult here in the raining state, but I kept the car parked for the full time. Water beaded off like it was new, the alligator (baggies brand sandwich bag) look was gone, & the wipers actually whisked away the rain with out smearing or streaking. So it was this product that I looked for (the other company stopped carrying it), when this new vehicle's windshield started losing it's smoothness, the wipers started chattering & the like. I didn't have 24 hours before the next rain came, more like two hours & five minutes, but the protection is working fine. I don't suggest cutting it that quick, as I figure I'll have to start over in a month or two because of it (but want the protection now & took the chance). The protection lasts about six or eight months & starts to fade in about a year to 18 months. Much depends on how many times you wash it, or drive into the pounding rain at 90 (I guess). I tired applying another coat sooner, but that seemed to muck things up & had to take steel wool to the windshield to strip it all off & start over. So if you're frugal, just wait till the screen looks bad again in about 18-24 months, wash it normally & put a new coat on. There is enough in there for about three or four windshields (depending on your size etc). I like to do all of the glass. Well, actually the back window, & use the clay rag on the side windows & mirrors. This is also good for wiper marks & superficial scratches (like steel wool ;}) ), is fantastic after the fact, in cleaning inside glass & mirrors, & may even be a great floor cleaner (but I wouldn't use it as a dessert topping) for all I know.
ProsActually works. One kit goes a long way. Easy enough to use. Comes with a sponge scrubby that doesn't fold in your hand while you use it. Probably good on the paint too, as it says, but I haven't tried the clay there, I want it for the glass. Residue clay (on rag) is fantastic for cleaning inside glass & mirrors. Rags & sponge wash out very easily.
ConsShows those pits, chips & stars once cleaned, but "protected" after stage 3. I didn't get a rag (pictured) in any of these last two kits I got. Hard to find pieces individually. BE CAREFUL of over spray!! This stuff is murder on rubber. Propellent is very strong. Over spraying is very easy.

BEWARE - READ FIRST
BEWARE ! - DO NOT USE the included speed sponge ! Or as I would call it "Scouring PAD". This thing WILL scratch your glass. Thank god (and I mean that) I tested this out on my daily work beater's rear hatch window. As it put a lot of light marring into the glass. Upon further testing, the only way this sponge will not induce marring is if you use absolutely zero pressure and just glide it along the glass with a lot of lubrication used. But at that point you might as well use a foam or microfiber applicator pad for similar, but safe results. Besides the insanely dangerous scouring pad, the products work very well. the spray on cleaner does an excellent job of stripping the glass, the spray on clay cleans deep down into the pits and pores of the glass and is a pleasure to use, and the protectant is easy to apply and level off the glass for a smooth looking surface. Unfortunately its all ruined with the included tool. If I used this product on my garage queen without first testing I would have literally passed out if I scratched all the glass on the vehicle. Have you ever attempted to remove scratch's from glass ? Its not fun. Did anyone test out these tools before putting this kit together ? I just dont understand how this got through trials and wound up on the product page for sale. High quality products ruined by a 50 cent scouring pad. its a shame.

2 out of 3 ain' bad.
I will admit, I was confused when I was reading the cans of the trio. When I figured out that I had to clean then clay then clean again then shield I was on my way. 1st, I used the products on a newer car so there was not as much dirt and grime contaminating the glass but I went ahead and used the clay, mainly because I wanted my windows as pretty as the video. The cleaner and clay worked great, when I went to use the shield, the can had a malfunction. The product came out the bottom of the spray head and would not shut off (that is why only 3 stars). So I can not rate the shield, I used my stand-by stuff and love the way the windows came out. I believe it had a lot to do with the spray clay. BTW, when using the clay, make sure you tape off the trim around the windows. A white film attaches to the trim and is worse to get off then wax. Thank-you for making a very nice product.

BEWARE DIAMONDITE GLASS CLEANING SYSTEM KIT
This sttuff does NOT work! - I have wiper streaks. I followed their directions exactly. --This didn't faze them at all. It left it's own streaks.- I had to go get windex to get the Diamondite streaks off. -- If you like hard work with no results, this stuff is for you.

Simply, DOES NOT WORK.
Applied twice as directed.....it cleaned absolutely nothing and water does not bead off when it rain....instead it causes a smear.....lots of work for nothing. I don't recommend it.
