Porter
Cable 7424 Variable Speed Polisher
 Our most popular and most versatile machine! Built to last, this rugged 3.7
amp polisher has 100-percent ball bearing construction. The spiral and bevel
gearing provides for smooth operation and efficient transfer of power. A
variable speed dial sets the orbit rate between 2,500 and 6,000 orbits per
minute for precise control. The speed dial is on the end of the motor, out
of the way, preventing accidental changing of the speed. A handy slide
switch prevents hand fatigue when the unit must be run for the extended
periods of time that polishing operations require. The random orbit action
of the special six-inch polishing pad provides a smooth, swirl-free finish.
An included side handle fits either the left or right side for maximum

Action 5” Flex Backing Plate
With hook facing, this plate allows you to switch pads quickly and continue
polishing. A recessed edge and flexible urethane construction gives your
paint extra protection from run-ins with the backing plate. Strict
tolerances on weight, balance, roundness, and flatness ensure consistent
performance time and time again.

Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0
Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 is a hybrid of our original Total Swirl Remover formula and Menzerna’s fast-cutting polish for ceramic clear coats. It combines Wolfgang’s diminishing abrasive technology with Menzerna’s special milling process, which produces consistently sized, fast cutting abrasives. Our specially milled abrasives work to eliminate imperfections without creating new ones. These small abrasives are milled for consistency. As they smooth over a scratch, the abrasives diminish at the same rate because they all started at the same size. The result is smooth paint in fewer steps. If another step is needed to fully restore the gloss, simply switch to a softer foam pad. Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 works more or less aggressively based on your pad selection.

Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 is a water-based emulsion with ultra fine diminishing abrasives that gently polish the paint to a brilliant gloss. Compounding swirls, mild oxidation, and water spots disappear to reveal glassy smooth, beautiful paint. Underneath a wax or sealant, the paint radiates with energy and gloss.

This high absorption foam formula is intended for the application of waxes,
micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so
it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.

6.5 inch Finessing Pad
This flat pad has soft composition for applying glaze, finishing polish,
sealants, and liquid waxes. The flat pad provides full contact with paint
surface to minimize the pressure applied by the user. Use the blue pad to

Microfiber Detailing Towels
Use these microfiber detailing cloths for drying, buffing, or as a finishing
wipe down. Microfiber is designed to be light, strong, super-absorbent and
quick drying. The fibers are non-abrasive, and are woven so tightly that
it’s absolutely lint free and extremely durable. Unbelievably, these
ultra-tough fibers are engineered to absorb seven times their weight in
moisture. When using on windows, it produces a streak-free finish.

Directions:
 Use the Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 first with the orange pad. Set the speed of the Porter Cable between 4500 and 5000 OPM. Work in sections and buff away the residue before moving on to the next section.
- Apply the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 next using the white pad. Set the PC at the same speed and work in sections. Buff before moving to the next section. (You may want 3 or 4 Cobra Detailing Cloths on hand to prevent cross-contamination.)
- To finish up, apply the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 using the blue pad. Cover the entire vehicle and wait 30-45 minutes before buffing. Once buffed, the sealant needs to cure for 12 hours in absolutely dry conditions to achieve the full effect.
- To clean your used pads, wash them in a solution of DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator and water. It will release the products from the foam and rinse completely clean. (Sold separately.)
