This is the only wash mitt I will use now. The mitt holds tons of soapy water and glides across car paint. I have to say it is the safest mitt I have ever used. The maintenance is easy, brush the mitt or just soak the mitt in a bucket while running your fingers through it to pull any grass seeds or hay out before you use it the first time. You will feel the seeds and hay with your fingers and you can pull the seeds out by hand while the wool is suspended in the bucket of water. When your done with your first car wash, rinse the soap and dirt out of the mitt and hang up to dry. It will be fluffy again and return to normal after it is left up to dry naturally.
Pros:Super safe, zero swirls or scratches, holds tons of soap and water, well made.
Cons:The only con I can think of and really isn't a big deal is that you have to take care of the mitt more than say a microfiber one, you can't just throw it in the washing machine and dryer.
