Certain areas of your vehicle take more abuse than others. The front of your hood and the bumper are a virtual bulls eye for dirt, bugs, and tar. Just because a few isolated areas are soiled, you don’t have to polish your entire vehicle. You don’t even have to own a polisher. With CCS Spot Buffs, you can polish a small area of your vehicle with just an electric drill and the proper adapter.
CCS Spot Buff Pads are only 4” in diameter to tackle small blemishes without affecting the surrounding paint. They are available in different levels of abrasiveness, like traditional polishing pads. These pads are 1.25 inches thick. They are perfect for the Polishing Pal or for spot correction using your electric drill.
The CCS Spot Buffs Kit offers you every Spot Buff pad plus a dual action adapter, a drill adapter, and 2 microfiber towels. You’ll be prepared for any small detailing job with this 10-piece kit. It’s a great introduction to the CCS Spot Buffs line and a great way to save money on the smallest innovation in polishing in years. The CCS Spot Buffs Kit includes…
2 CCS Orange Light Cutting Foam 4" x 1.25" Pads- This is an excellent, high density foam with
light cutting power. It works well for applying microfine compounds and
smoothing scratches and swirls.
2 CCS White
Polishing Foam 4" x 1.25" Pads - This pad features high absorption foam
for the application of waxes, polishes and sealants. This pad has very
little cutting power and works well for application purposes. It’s made of
soft, porous foam so it’s gentle on your paint. They’re also perfect for
polishing metal wheels, bumpers, and mirror covers.
1 CCS Gray Finishing Foam 4" x 1.25" Pad -
Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final
finishing to remove buffer swirls, but it is gentle enough to buff your
vehicle to an attractive luster. Use with machine glaze or finishing polish.
1 CCS Blue
All Purpose Foam 4" x 1.25" Pad – This is a multi-purpose pad used for
applying glazes, polishes, and waxes. It’s made of closed-cell foam that
will distribute a thin, even layer. The foam has no cut and is dense enough
to spread paste waxes.
1 Hook & Loop 2 ¾” Backing Plate – This backing plate is required for Spot Buffs. Designed just like larger backing plates, this plate has Hook & Loop firmly adhered to one side so you can change pads with ease. At only 2 ¾”, this plate leaves a generous edge on the 4” pads to avoid accidental contact with the paint. This backing plate attaches directly to a circular polisher. It requires a DA adapter for use with a dual action polisher and a drill adapter to be used with your electric drill.
1 DA Adapter
– This adapter is required to attach your 2 ¾” backing plate to your dual
action polisher. Tighten adapter into polisher with a wrench
Adapter– This adapter allows you to use Spot Buffs with your
variable speed electric drill. Tighten adapter into backing plate with a
3 oz. DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator – Wash used foam and wool pads in
DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator. Dissolve this 3 oz. packet into 3 gallons of
water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes
and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues
within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air
dry, backing side up.
2 Microfiber Towels (16 x 16 inches) –
The Microfiber Towel is spun from an 80/20 polyester/polyamide blend, producing a highly refined microfiber. The microscopic polyester/polyamide fibers are split with a unique process that creates a “feathered” weave on one side for buffing and looped fibers on the other side, which are excellent for cleaning. This superior “feather” weave results in far greater absorption properties in a virtually lint free network of fibers.
With the CCS Spot Buffs Kit, you get every Spot Buff pad, all the necessary adapters, the backing plate, and 2 microfiber towels for one low price. Spot detailing your vehicle has never been so convenient!
Proper Cleaning- Wash pads by hand using 1 packet of DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator mixed in 3-4 gallons of water. Agitate foam using a Duo-Spur Pad Cleaning Tool and soak pad for up to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
All the CCS Spot Buffs pads are designed to be used with the Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal and The Cyclo Polishers, too! This handy tool is a molded urethane handle that attaches to 4” pads to keep your hands clean as you polish. The Polishin’ Pal is perfectly palm-sized with Hook & Loop backing so you can easily change pads. When you want to detail by hand, without actually using your hands, use the Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal and Spot Buffs pads!

Used this kit with CG V line with my DA, topped with JS109 and Coll. FW 885. Easy control around tight spots and gets where 5.5" pads won't. My bike has never looked better!!!

Good for Tight Spots
August 19, 2008
Bought this to remove some gasoline etching and it did a very good job with the accompaniment of some Optimum Compound (Orange Pad) followed up with Klasse All-In-One polisher (White Pad) then overlayed with some Meguiar's NXT wax (Gray Pad). Results were amazing with a nice mirror finish. The only gripe was the cleaner bag was ripped open and so the contents were all over the box when I received it but AutoGeek quickly replaced it in no time at all.
