I am NOT a fan of this product. I have purchased it on 2 occasions and used it in a variety of ways.
Snow foaming the car using the neat liquid makes mountains of foam. I mean a ridiculous amount. more than anything I have used or seen. thicker and more abundant than shaving cream. and it clings like not other. I litterally had a 3 inch deep layer across the entire car that stayed there for minutes. I was impressed initially. So I waited for dwell time and saw that it was not releasing any iron or turning purple on a contaminated car. So if your looking for a decon product, do not look here. just go with iron x. The real issue came though when I went about rinsing it off. my goodness this stuff was extremely difficult to rinse off. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes or powerwashing the car to remove. So much so that I unhooked the powerwasher and used a regular hose with a nozzle (to provide more water as pressure washers have low gpm's) to really flush the cars panel cracks and trim areas. so after laboring to remove the product I realized a thin film still clinging to the panels. if i rubbed my hand on the panel i was able to create a lather out of the film. So this forced me to rewash the car with a regular shampoo. adding another timely step. Another big issue I had was the brake rotors. When I foamed the entire car I also foamed the wheels so the rotors were drenched with product. upon rinsing my wheels my rotors oxidized so fast and so much that I had giant pools of rust on my driveway around all 4 wheels. I mean GIANT pools. The huge amount of rust kept forming after each rinse cycle. This left 4 huge stains on my driveway that I needed to remove later on. It also left rust all over my wheels and hub forcing me to reclean my wheels thoroughly. So as you can see that using this product neat via snow foam was a gigantic pain in the butt. If you buy this product use it on the wash mitt and do a panel at a time then rinse. and use minimal product. What it does do well is clean and degrease the panels. For iron removing dont waste your time. and if you are going to foam with it, stay away from bare metals like the wheel components and be prepared to rinse very well. I was so pissed that I had to rewash the wheels and car that I litterally threw away the remaining amount in my bottle (about 100ml).
