Cleanse paint of iron contaminants better than ever with Iron X Snow Soap!

Iron X Snow Soap by CarPro decontaminates automotive paint, glass, chrome and wheels by removing corrosive iron particles. Iron X Snow Soap opens up the pores in the paint as you wash your vehicle, releasing ferrous airborne particles before they can cause further damage. Iron X Snow Soap is also formulated with an advanced blend of degreasers so it has the power to cut through heavy road film leaving paint squeaky clean and ready for polishing.

If you’re a professional detailer, you know that gloss and reflection comes from paint that’s free of contaminants. While the use of detailing clay removes above surface contaminants, it doesn’t completely rid the surface of all impurities such as ferrous (iron containing) airborne particles. Such particles hinder shine and reflection on painted surfaces, leaving you with less-than-desirable levels of gloss, reflection and smoothness. Iron X Snow Soap opens up the pores in the paint, releasing these contaminants so they can be washed away by the thick, foamy solution.

Iron X Snow Soap features a high-foaming formula that works great in our Foam Cannon HP or Foamaster Foam Gun. Its formula is highly concentrated and when used in conjunction with the aforementioned wash guns, it will produce mounds of thick foam that will cling to your vehicle’s surfaces ridding them of dirt, road grime, and - more importantly – ferrous airborne particles. What’s more, Iron X Snow Soap changes color as it interacts with such ferrous airborne particles, letting you know that it’s working!

  • High Lubricity
  • pH balanced
  • Contains degreasers that cut through road film and heavy grime with ease
  • Produces thick foam that clings to all surfaces
  • Removes ferrous airborne particles
  • Changes color as it interacts with iron particles
  • Clear coat safe
  • Phosphate free
  • Will not affect durability of coatings and polymer-based paint sealants

Have a foam party with Iron X Snow Soap!

Great foam, less than mediocre decon
I bought this on BOGO and finally got a chance to use it. I was thrilled by the difference in foam consistency just one pump of SS in 4 oz of Megs GC made. Used in the Gilmour Foam gun at strongest dilution. I also got it because I wanted to do give my decon procedure a boost without having to purchase a bottle of iron x spray every time (I have large vehicles) but was sorely disappointed.
ProsGreat foam, fair price
ConsNo perceptible decontamination ability

Good and Bad
I've purchases this item while on BOGO twice now. I've used it as a form of decontamination when performing everything from a Wash & Wax, to maintenance washes on coated vehicles. This product should be looked at in two ways. Snow Foam and Iron-X.

As a snow foam, its excellent. An electric pressure washer and foam cannon produces very very thick foam. The foam also has a very long dwell time. Unfortunately, the Iron-X aspect of the product is no where to be found. As I stated above, I tested and used this product on just about every type of vehicle in every type of condition and not once did I see the product release ferrous particles.
ProsExcellent Snow Foam Excellent Dwell Time
ConsDoesn't Release Ferrous Particles
Snow Soap
I am NOT a fan of this product. I have purchased it on 2 occasions and used it in a variety of ways.

Snow foaming the car using the neat liquid makes mountains of foam. I mean a ridiculous amount. more than anything I have used or seen. thicker and more abundant than shaving cream. and it clings like not other. I litterally had a 3 inch deep layer across the entire car that stayed there for minutes. I was impressed initially. So I waited for dwell time and saw that it was not releasing any iron or turning purple on a contaminated car. So if your looking for a decon product, do not look here. just go with iron x. The real issue came though when I went about rinsing it off. my goodness this stuff was extremely difficult to rinse off. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes or powerwashing the car to remove. So much so that I unhooked the powerwasher and used a regular hose with a nozzle (to provide more water as pressure washers have low gpm's) to really flush the cars panel cracks and trim areas. so after laboring to remove the product I realized a thin film still clinging to the panels. if i rubbed my hand on the panel i was able to create a lather out of the film. So this forced me to rewash the car with a regular shampoo. adding another timely step. Another big issue I had was the brake rotors. When I foamed the entire car I also foamed the wheels so the rotors were drenched with product. upon rinsing my wheels my rotors oxidized so fast and so much that I had giant pools of rust on my driveway around all 4 wheels. I mean GIANT pools. The huge amount of rust kept forming after each rinse cycle. This left 4 huge stains on my driveway that I needed to remove later on. It also left rust all over my wheels and hub forcing me to reclean my wheels thoroughly. So as you can see that using this product neat via snow foam was a gigantic pain in the butt. If you buy this product use it on the wash mitt and do a panel at a time then rinse. and use minimal product. What it does do well is clean and degrease the panels. For iron removing dont waste your time. and if you are going to foam with it, stay away from bare metals like the wheel components and be prepared to rinse very well. I was so pissed that I had to rewash the wheels and car that I litterally threw away the remaining amount in my bottle (about 100ml).
