Porter Cable 7424XP Variable Speed Polisher

The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher is a beefed up, more powerful version of our most popular dual action polisher. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher has all the user-friendly features of the original Porter Cable 7424, but a 4.5 amp motor enables enhanced performance and durability. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher operates from 2,500 OPM to 6,800 OPM to provide a faster removal rate. The 7424XP features all ball and roller bearing construction with spiral/bevel gears and an improved switch design. The buffer accepts a 5/16-24 spindle thread. The pad diameter is 6 inches. The polisher includes a wrench, side handle, polishing pad, and a operating manual.

 

Dual Action 5 Inch HD Backing Plate

Quality hook facings offer secure adhesion to pads, yet quick and easy removal. Foam or wool pads equipped with loop backing will work with the Dual Action 5 inch HD Backing Plate. The industrial grade hook and loop fasteners will prevent pads from coming off the plate accidentally during use. 32 oz. Menzerna Super Finish (Nano) PO 106 FA

Menzerna Super Finish PO 106 FA is the updated version of PO 106 FF. This fine abrasive polish removes imperfections in the new, hard, ceramic clear coat paints. This is part of the same family of polishes used in Mercedes plants in Germany and select auto plants and repair shops in the U.S. to remove swirls and overspray from brand new paint finishes. Super Finish is capable of removing 2500 grit sanding scratches, haze from compounding, light swirls, and mild oxidation while restoring a glassy, smooth shine.

Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83

Menzerna Super Intensive Polish is formulated specifically for the new ceramic, scratch-resistant clear coats. Menzerna developed a new family of abrasives that are better able to penetrate the hard paint and level imperfections. Super Intensive Polish is the most aggressive of this new breed of polishes, capable of removing 2000 grit sanding scratches. Though this is a powerful polish, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish produces virtually no dust or haze.

Foamed Wool 6.5 x 1 inch Thick Polishing/Buffing Pad

Lake Country’s Foamed Wool is a patented process whereby microscopic polyfoam particles encapsulate the base of the wool pad. You can feel how the wool is tighter and denser than a regular wool pad. This enables the Foamed Wool 6.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pads to stand up to the stress of polishing better with less caking and matting and better results. The Foamed Wool encapsulation process locks the lambswool fibers in place to significantly reduce linting. The firm, high density orange foam is ideal for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.

The white pads are a less dense foam formula for the application of polishes, cleaner waxes, and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.

This soft, imported foam is ideal for applying the final coat of wax or sealant. The foam works especially well when applying liquid waxes or sealants because it is firm enough to keep the majority of the product on the paint, rather than soaking it up. The red foam has no cut or cleaning ability.

3 Packs of Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner

Wash used foam and wool pads in Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve each 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air dry, backing side up.
