Far Better than I'd Hoped
September 21, 2008
Waxing with paste wax (which is my preference) has always been a chore that I've not looked forward to. The PowerBall 4Paint has changed that for me.
I have a new 2008 BMW 335xi Coupe (Black Sapphire Metallic) and wanted to get a few coats of wax on it before the weather gets bad here in Minnesota. I was concerned about "swirling" with a non-random orbital polisher like the PowerBall, so I chose Mother's Pure Carnauba Paste Wax, which is non-abrasive, and attached the PowerBall 4Paint to my cordless drill.
The results were stunning. I was able to apply the first coat of wax in less than 10 minutes with virtually no effort. After buffing off the wax residue with a microfiber cloth, I applied a second coat (far easier than the first) and buffed again. Honestly, the car shows better now than when I took delivery on it six months ago.
I am very particular about my cars, as I am sure you are since you are reading this blog. So trust me when I tell you, the PowerBall 4Paint delivers what it promises. There are several videos on YouTube that show the step-by-step process- I highly recommend them.
