Restore optimum gloss to older finishes with Menzerna and the Porter Cable 7424XP!
The Menzerna Maximum Shine Kit is the perfect reconditioning kit for daily drivers. It contains three Menzerna products to remove imperfections, restore gloss, and hide any minor flaws to achieve the maximum shine on all types and colors of paint.
First, use Menzerna Intensive Polish to remove swirls, scratches, water spots, and oxidation on older finishes or vehicles that are driven daily. The fine abrasives will create a uniform, smooth surface with no dust or marring.
Next, use Menzerna Final Polish to restore maximum gloss to the paint. Ultra fine abrasives burnish the paint to a high gloss without a trace of haze, even on dark paints.
As the last step before wax application, use Menzerna Finishing Glaze to enrich the paint with oils for a wet look. Tiny fillers hide any light imperfections to create the illusion of perfect paint even when you don’t have time for the full polishing process. Finally, apply a coat of wax to seal in the gloss and depth created by the Menzerna Maximum Shine Kit.

The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher is a beefed up, more powerful version of our most popular dual action polisher. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher has all the user-friendly features of the original Porter Cable 7424, but a 4.5 amp motor enables enhanced performance and durability. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher operates from 2,500 OPM to 6,800 OPM to provide a faster removal rate. The 7424XP features all ball and roller bearing construction with spiral/bevel gears and an improved switch design. The buffer accepts a 5/16-24 spindle thread. The pad diameter is 6 inches. Menzerna Intensive Polish defies convention! Intensive Polish is capable of
removing 2000 grit sanding scratches, oxidation, compounding swirls and
other defects without hazing. Based on its abilities you’d think it’s a
compound but, in fact, Menzerna Intensive Polish is just what the name says
– a polish on steroids! Use Intensive Polish before Final Polish.

Final Polish
Menzerna Final Polish
is a pure polish with no glaze, fillers, or silicones. The water-based
formula contains no solvent. It is safe on fresh OEM coatings and new repair
coatings. Menzerna Final Polish will not create new swirls or leave
haze, and it creates no dust. It leaves only a high gloss finish on all
colors and types of paint, with or without a clear coat. This is called
Final Polish but it’s an ideal first polish for newer vehicles that only
have very fine swirls. The abrasives are extremely finely milled to prevent
the creation of new swirls. <b>Even on black paint, Menzerna Final Polish
will produce an outstanding shine without a trace of micro marring.

Finishing Glaze
Menzerna Finishing
Glaze is like a concealer for automotive paint. The glaze fills and hides
minor swirls and imperfections to create a smooth, flawless-looking finish
faster. For daily drivers, Menzerna Finishing Glaze is a great way to
maintain a showroom shine on a busy schedule. Menzerna Finishing Glaze has
no corrective properties but it will remove old wax and even out the paint’s
gloss prior to wax application

These six-inch Cobra™ microfiber bonnets are well-made, reversible, and
machine washable. With a 70/30 blend, they are super soft and gentle on all
paint finishes. Cover your foam pad directly or layer them over the lamb’s
wool leveling pad for a more cushioned application. Either way, they are
superior at applying products, polishing and shining.

Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final
finishing to remove buffer swirls. The gray finishing pad has no cut and

Arctic White Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths
Super soft and absorbent, these 70/30 towels are perfect for buffing off
waxes, polishes or sealants. Tiny looped fibers polish your paint to a
beautiful shine while the woven core absorbs an incredible amount of fluid.
These towels have an amazing "grip" to remove even the most stubborn wax
residues. Edgeless construction eliminates the risk of micro-marring.

All the products in the Menzerna Maximum Shine Kit are safe on newly cured repair coating and reconditioned finishes. Use them all paints, with or without a clear coat, to restore the maximum shine, depth, and reflection.
Application:
Work out of direct sunlight on a clean, dry vehicle.
- Put the white pad onto your Porter Cable 7424XP. Apply an X of Menzerna Intensive Polish across the pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint. Note: Using the white pad with Intensive Polish will remove light to moderate imperfections. If you have more pronounced swirls, use an orange light cutting pad.
- Turn the polisher on between 5 and 6 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
- Use one of the included Cobra Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
- Remove the white pad and put on the gray pad. The gray foam has no cut so using it with Final Polish will give the paint a light, shine-enhancing polishing.
- Apply an X of Menzerna Final Polish across the gray pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
- Turn the polisher on between 4 and 5 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
- Use one of the included Cobra Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
- Next, apply an X of the Menzerna Finishing Glaze to the blue pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
- Turn the polisher on between 3 and 4 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
- Use one of the included Cobra Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
- Always apply a wax or sealant after polishing.
