I purchased this product because I just bought my first white car. I know straight white is a hard color to make look good and I'm not sure what I expected. I haven't polished it yet but wanted to get a good coat of protection on it for winter. The car was washed, clayed and a coat of WDGPS 3.0 was applied and set up for 24 hours. I put a coat of Diamond White on the trunk just to see how it went on/off and if there was any difference in gloss.
Application was pretty easy however removal took a little extra work. It didn't feel anywhere near the slickness of just WDGPS on an adjoining panel. In the halogen lights it wasn't quite as clear either. As far as durability I can't comment yet but to me this wax is nothing special. I would give it 1 star but I wanted to be fair because I haven't seen it's durability yet.
For dark colors, especially black, my favorite combo is WDGPS topped by Pinnacle Souveran. Maybe the Souveran spoiled me with it's ease of use (WO/WO) and extreme wet look.
Maybe I expected too much for white paint but this wax didn't do it for me especially for the price. $14 for 1 oz., I'm glad I bought the sample.
