A bit cumbersome but very effective

I bought this sponge as a replacement for The Schmitt that Autogeek used to sell to clean and scrub the wheel wells on my car. It's porous but dense enough to do a good job of scrubbing any debris and dirt. It's very effective when you use it on the Grit Guard washboard. A few passes over the washboard and the dirt is released. It's cumbersome to me because it's a bit thick to use in the confined spaces between the tire tread and the wheel well. I'm thinking I might cut it crosswise to make two thinner sponges as opposed to the one thick one.
Pros:Good scrubbing action.
Easy to squeeze out once it soaks for a minute or two.
Easily releases dirt when used with the Grit Guard or Grit Guard washboard.
Cons:Sponge is a bit too thick to be used to clean wheel wells, but still does a very good job once positioned in those spaces.
