Autogeek Supports Operation Comfort with Memorial Day Donation Drive

Autogeek, its customers and its vendors donated money and supplies valued at $24410 to Operation Comfort following a successful Memorial Day drive.

Stuart, FL June 23, 2010 - Autogeek's Operation Comfort Memorial Day donation drive was a huge success! After Memorial Day, owner Bob "Max" McKee was pleased to send Operation Comfort a check in the amount of $4,910 plus 1700 foam buffing pads for Operation Comfort's Automotivation program, valued at $19,500.

Our customers donated a total of $2,560 from May 13-31. Of that, $500 came from Mike Phillips' detail of a customer's 1994 Porsche. Click here to view the video.

Our vendors donated $1350. Those donations came from Black WOW, P21S, Grit Guard, Metro Vac, Optimum, RaggTopp, Lake Country, and Cyclo.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to Operation Comfort. Your generosity will enable Operation Comfort to continue their valuable work towards making the transition home easier for wounded veterans.

We announced our support of Operation Comfort in our May 13 newsletter and immediately began receiving donations from our generous customers. Then just before Memorial Day, we sent a letter to our vendors requesting donations of money or supplies to Operation Comfort's Automotivation program. Many of our vendors happily obliged.
