Lake Country 4 Inch Low Profile Foam Pads
Large foam pads are ideal for polishing all the painted surfaces of your vehicle, but sometimes you just need to cover a small area. For example, your headlight lenses may be cloudy or your chrome bumper may need a thorough polishing. A 6.5” pad is just not small enough for these jobs. Instead, equip your polisher or drill with Lake Country 4” Low Profile Pads and only address the problem areas.
These multi-functional pads are the perfect size for small polishing tasks. Made of high quality foam, these pads have hook & loop backing all the way to the edges. The benefit of this extra material is that you don’t have to line the pad up perfectly on the backing plate to achieve the maximum pad to plate contact. The Velcro® brand hook & loop is secured permanently to the foam to avoid separation problems as you polish. The curved edge allows you to turn the pad at a slight angle without cookie-cutting the paint. The foam is both dense enough to carry the weight of your polisher, but gentle enough to use on a variety of surfaces.
Lake Country 4” Pads can be used on your dual action polisher with the purchase of our 3 ½” DA Flexible Backing Plate. The 2 ¾” Hook & Loop Backing Plate allows you to use these pads with your circular polisher or add the Spot Buffs Drill Adapter to use the pads with your electric drill. The pads are also perfect for the Cyclo Dual Head Polisher. With all these options, you’re sure to find many uses for Lake Country 4” Pads!
Orange 4” Light Cutting Pad - The orange pad is an excellent, multi-purpose pad. It can be used with your polisher to remove light scratches on paint, or with plastic and chrome polishes. It is less abrasive than the yellow pad and is used ideally for polishing chrome or aluminum wheels and bumpers.
Tackle small sections without making a big mess with Lake Country 4” Pads!
Wash your pads using DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator in a 5 gallon bucket. Mix one scoop with 3-4 gallons of water and allow your detailing tools to soak for up to 15 minutes. Agitate with a Foam Conditioning Brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
