Strong yet safe on wheels
November 28, 2013
After reading a few reviews on the various color changing wheel cleaners, I thought I would give Rim 7 a shot.
-Cheaper for 500ml than Iron-x, same as Einszett Colourtec.
-Bad smell but this is expected of the chemical that dissolves the iron and changes color.
Sprays a bit thin. To remedy this I used a foaming spray head I had on hand and can be purchased here at Autogeek. The slight foaming action helped the cleaner cling better to the wheel. It worked faster and more effectively than any of the other cleaners I have used so far. The wheels were on an Audi and the brake dust accumulates quick. Even before agitation the dust and dirt was draining away. With a slight agitation the wheels were spotless.
If you have a car that builds heavy brake dust, and you're looking for a cleaner that safely and effectively removes dust, dirt, and grime while saving a few dollars off other brands, then give Rim 7 a try.
