Prima Epic is a long-lasting synthetic wax with a brilliant wet-look shine. The combination of resins and polymers creates a barrier which protects against UV and environmental damage. The super-slick finish is extremely dust resistant. Prima Epic can be layered for extra slickness and protection. Prima Epic Synthetic Wax is non-dusting and easy on, easy off.
Prima Epic leaves a bright, wet gloss with fantastic slickness. In order to get greater durability, the amount of emulsifier was reduced in the formulation of this wax. As a result some separation in the bottle will occur. This is normal. Prior to use, a good shaking is necessary. The added durability is worth a little shaking. In the end, you will have a stunning wet-look shine with Epic durability.
Epic can be applied by hand or by machine. In either application method, thinner is better. If applying with a Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher, we suggest a black finishing pad. Apply a small amount to the perimeter of the pad. Work a 3’x3’ section until the product gets so thin it appears to flash dry - usually about 15-30 seconds. Apply a little more Epic to the pad and move on to the next section. It is ok to overlap sections. Repeat this process for the entire vehicle. Wait 30 to 45 minutes and wipe off residue with a plush microfiber towel. If the product is not fully dry, it will smear. Simply wait a bit longer and try again. Epic can be left on the paint for several hours or several days without issue. Over the next 24-48 hours, Epic will cure with a noticeable increase in slickness. Avoid washing with soap for 24 hours after waxing. However, rinsing with water, or using a quick detail spray such as Prima Slick, will not affect the curing process.
Love Prima Epic. I use it on all of the cars that I detail. It is very durable, I live in a coastal state in New England and apply this in the fall and it will still bead water in the spring. Even after a harsh New England winter being exposed to a lot of salt it still lasts. All of my customers like the shine and gloss it produces as well. Application is easy. I even applied this to a boat this spring to see how long it will last.
Easy to apply and last 6+ months. Price!!!
Thin is in!

Great sealant that lasts a loooong time! Make sure you follow the instructions and shake, shake, shake, then apply very thin. If it's thin, it's very easy to remove after about an hour cure.
