Meguiars D.A & Rotary Backing Platespad
Meguiars backing plates are available for rotary and dual action polishers. Each backing plate features hook & loop backing secured to a thick polyurethane pad. Above the polyurethane is a molded plastic plate to keep the backing plate balanced during operation.

Use the 5 inch backing plate with 6.5 inch Meguiars Soft Buffs pads. The 6 inch DA backing plate can also be used with these pads while the 6 inch rotary plate should be used with the 8 inch Meguiars Soft Buffs pads.
