Breakthrough abrasive technology restores hard, ceramic clear coats!

The Menzerna Show Car Finish Kit is the perfect prescription for ceramic, scratch resistant clear coat paints. The kit contains Menzerna’s Super Intensive Polish and Nano Polish, both designed specifically for hard, ceramic clear coats. The Menzerna Show Car Finish Kit removes imperfections and restores gloss to achieve the maximum shine on your vehicle.

At the end of 2003, Mercedes Benz put into production a new scratch-resistant clear coat lacquer made up of nano-sized ceramic particles, which are baked and hardened in the paintshop oven, just like you’d bake pottery in a kiln. This process results in an extensively cross-linked, very hard paint finish that stands up better to mechanical car washes and day to day abuse. This clear coat, called CeramiClear from PPG, is the only nanotechnology clear coat used on Mercedes production lines and is approved for the repair of Mercedes and Nissans.

Ceramic paint can still scratch; just not as easily. When a scratch does occur, not all the polishes on the market are capable of removing it from the new, hard-as-a-rock clear coats. Menzerna developed two polishes to correct the hard, new paints: Super Intensive Polish and Nano Polish. Both polishes can be applied with a dual action or circular polisher.

First, use Menzerna Super Intensive Polish to remove swirls, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. The fine abrasives will create a uniform, smooth surface with no dust or marring.

Next, use Menzerna Nano Polish to restore maximum gloss to the paint. Ultra fine abrasives burnish the paint to a high gloss without a trace of haze, even on dark paints.

As the last step before wax application, use Menzerna Finishing Glaze to enrich the paint with oils for a wet look. Tiny fillers hide any light imperfections to create the illusion of perfect paint even when you don’t have time for the full polishing process. Finally, apply a coat of wax to seal in the gloss and depth created by the Menzerna Show Car Finish Kit.

The Menzerna Show Car Finish Kit includes:

	32 oz. Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83 Menzerna Super Intensive Polish is formulated specifically for the new ceramic, scratch-resistant clear coats. Menzerna developed a new family of abrasives that are better able to penetrate the hard paint and level imperfections. Super Intensive Polish is the most aggressive of this new breed of polishes, capable of removing 2000 grit sanding scratches. Though this is a powerful polish, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish produces virtually no dust or haze.
	32 oz. Menzerna Super Finish (Nano) PO 106 FA Menzerna Super Finish PO 106 FA is the updated version of PO 106 FF. This fine abrasive polish removes imperfections in the new, hard, ceramic clear coat paints. This is part of the same family of polishes used in Mercedes plants in Germany and select auto plants and repair shops in the U.S. to remove swirls and overspray from brand new paint finishes. Super Finish is capable of removing 2500 grit sanding scratches, haze from compounding, light swirls, and mild oxidation while restoring a glassy, smooth shine.
	32 oz. Menzerna Finishing Glaze PO 115C Menzerna Finishing Glaze is like a concealer for automotive paint. The glaze fills and hides minor swirls and imperfections to create a smooth, flawless-looking finish faster. For daily drivers, Menzerna Finishing Glaze is a great way to maintain a showroom shine on a busy schedule. Menzerna Finishing Glaze has no corrective properties but it will remove old wax and even out the paint’s gloss prior to wax application.
	CCS Orange 6.5 Inch Light Cutting Foam Pad Our European orange pad is made of firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on light to moderate imperfections. Use it to apply Super Intensive Polish.
	CCS White 6.5 Inch Polishing Foam Pad The white polishing pad features dense foam for the application of cleaner waxes and micro fine polishes. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners and finishing polishes.
	CCS Gray 6.5 Inch Finishing Foam Pad Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
	2 Cobra Microfiber Detailing Towels Use these microfiber detailing towels for drying, buffing, or as a finishing wipe down. Microfiber is designed to be light, strong, super-absorbent and quick drying. The fibers are non-abrasive, and are woven so tightly that it’s absolutely lint free and extremely durable. Unbelievably, these ultra-tough fibers are engineered to absorb seven times their weight in moisture. When using on windows, it produces a streak-free finish.
	4 Cobra 6 Inch Microfiber Bonnets These six-inch Cobra microfiber bonnets are well-made, reversible, and machine washable. With a 70/30 blend, they are super soft and gentle on all paint finishes. Cover your foam pad directly or layer them over the lamb’s wool leveling pad for a more cushioned application. Either way, they are superior at applying products, polishing and shining automotive paint.

The Menzerna Show Car Finish Kit works with your Porter Cable 7424XP, Meguiars G110, Flex XC3401 VRG Orbital Polisher, or other dual action polisher with a 5 or 6 inch backing plate. You can also use a rotary (circular polisher) if desired. The backing plate and polisher are sold separately.

Application:
Work out of direct sunlight on a clean, dry vehicle.

1. Put the orange pad onto your dual action polisher. Apply an X of Menzerna Super Intensive Polish across the pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
2. Turn the polisher on between 5 and 6 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
3. Use one of the included Cobra Microfiber Towels to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
4. Remove the orange pad and put on the white pad. The white foam has very light cut to polish the paint to a bright shine.
5. Apply an X of Menzerna Nano Polish across the white pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
6. Turn the polisher on between 4 and 5 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
7. Use one of the included Cobra Microfiber Towels to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
8. Next, apply an X of the Menzerna Finishing Glaze to the gray pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
9. Turn the polisher on between 3 and 4 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
10. Use one of the included Cobra Microfiber Towels to wipe away the residue. You can also use a bonnet but you must place the bonnet over a lambswool pad (not included) to provide a cushion between the backing plate and the bonnet.
11. Always apply a wax or sealant after polishing.
