Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA and Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83 were developed by Menzerna specifically for the ceramic clear coat paint being using in Mercedes plants in Germany. Harder clear coats are becoming the trend; Corvettes also have a scratch-resistant finish. With harder paint comes greater polishing challenges, but the Menzerna Complete Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit is the prescription for rock-hard clear coats.

The Menzerna Complete Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit includes 5.5 inch pads. With minimal pressure applied to them, many detailers find that the 5.5 inch CCS Smart Pads™ move more efficiently on the paint and polishes break down with greater ease because there is less foam between backing plate and the paint to buffer heat. This is great news for vehicles with hard, ceramic clear coats. Now you can polish scratch-resistant clear coats successfully with your user-friendly DA polisher. Even with the smaller pads, a dual action polisher is still the safest way to detail.

The Menzerna Complete Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit includes:

	Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA is the updated version of PO 106 FF. This fine abrasive polish removes imperfections in the new, hard, ceramic clear coat paints. This is part of the same family of polishes used in Mercedes plants in Germany and select auto plants and repair shops in the U.S. to remove swirls and overspray from brand new paint finishes. Nano Polish is capable of removing 2500 grit sanding scratches, haze from compounding, light swirls, and mild oxidation while restoring a glassy, smooth shine.
	Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83 Menzerna Super Intensive Polish is formulated specifically for the new ceramic, scratch-resistant clear coats. Menzerna developed a new family of abrasives that are better able to penetrate the hard paint and level imperfections. Super Intensive Polish is the most aggressive of this new breed of polishes, capable of removing 2000 grit sanding scratches. Though this is a powerful polish, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish produces virtually no dust or haze.
	Foamed Wool 6.5 x 1 inch Thick Polishing/Buffing Pad Lake Country’s Foamed Wool is a patented process whereby microscopic polyfoam particles encapsulate the base of the wool pad. You can feel how the wool is tighter and denser than a regular wool pad. This enables the Foamed Wool 6.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pads to stand up to the stress of polishing better with less caking and matting and better results. The Foamed Wool encapsulation process locks the lambswool fibers in place to significantly reduce linting. Foamed Wool 7 inch Buffing/Polishing Pads are capable of removing 1500 grit scratches, leaving a smooth finish with no hazing and few, if any, compounding swirls.
	2 CCS 5.5 Inch Orange Light Cutting Pads The firm, high density orange foam is ideal for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
	2 CCS 5.5 Inch White Polishing Pads The white pads are a less dense foam formula for the application of polishes, cleaner waxes, and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
	1 CCS 5.5 Inch Red UltraSoft Wax/Sealant Pads This soft, imported foam is ideal for applying the final coat of wax or sealant. The foam works especially well when applying liquid waxes or sealants because it is firm enough to keep the majority of the product on the paint, rather than soaking it up. The red foam has no cut or cleaning ability.
	3 Packs of Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner Wash used foam and wool pads in Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve each 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air dry, backing side up.
	2 Cobra Forest Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towels, 16 x 16 inches The Cobra Deluxe Jr. is an incredibly thick, fluffy weave of 70/30 microfiber. Silky microfiber fingers massage any surface to a glossy shine with zero risk of micro-marring. The towel features a microfiber edge and a removable sticker instead of a tag. Use the Cobra Deluxe Jr. to remove wax or for final buffing.

The Menzerna Complete Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit is designed for a dual action polisher such as the Porter Cable 7424 or Meguiars G110. The small size of the 5.5 inch pads maximizes the leveling ability of these user-friendly machines to create a smooth, flawless finish – even on hard clear coats!

Application:
Work out of direct sunlight on a clean, dry vehicle.

1. Put the 6.5” Foamed Wool Pad onto your DA polisher. Apply an X of Menzerna Super Intensive Polish across the pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint. (For less severe imperfections, you can use the Orange Light Cutting Pad for this step.)
2. Turn the polisher on between 5 and 6 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
3. Use one of the included Cobra Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towels to wipe away the residue.
4. Put on the White Polishing Pad. Apply an X of Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA across the white pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the polish on a 2 x 2 sq. ft. section of paint.
5. Turn the polisher on between 4 and 5 and work the polish into the paint in a side to side, overlapping motion. When the polish begins to dry, turn the polisher off and lift it off the paint.
6. Use one of the included Cobra Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towels to wipe away the residue.
7. Always apply a wax or sealant after polishing. We recommend Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 (sold separately), which provides durable protection and a carnauba-like shine. Use the included red pad to apply the sealant.
