Makita 9227C Circular Polisher
The 10 amp motor makes the Makita 9227C work tirelessly, no matter how often and aggressively you use it. The machine weighs only 6.6 pounds so you can work for extended periods without tiring your arms. The Makita 9227C features a large, comfortable handle and a convenient spindle lock in the polisher to make changing pads easy. The Makita 9227C 7” Polisher comes with a 7” blended polishing pad, a 7” wool compounding pad, a nylon tool bag, and a one year warranty. The Makita has a variable speed from 0-3000 rpm with a pre-set speed setting dial from 600-3000 rpm.

System One X3 Cutting Polish
System One X3 Cutting Polish replaces multiple compounds and polishes with
just one advanced polish. Eliminate swirls and scratches without causing new
ones. System One X3 Cutting Polish has small, consistent abrasives that
work as a compound or a polish, depending upon your pad selection. This
is not a diminishing abrasive polish, in which the abrasives start large and
gradually shrink.
It contains very small
abrasives that are more or less aggressive depending on the pad used.
Therefore, you won’t see the telltale compounding swirls caused by large
abrasives. No follow up products are required. System One X3 Cutting Polish
works on all clear coats, ceramic clear coats, fresh paint, cured paint, and
factory paint. It’s water-based and non-staining.

One Wool/Foam Pad
Made by The Edge exclusively for
System One, the System One Cutting/Finishing Pad combines the cutting power
of wool with the polishing ability of foam. With just one pad, you can
remove swirls and scratches and restore a pristine shine. The System One
Cutting/Finishing Pad produces flawless results with System One X3 Cutting
Polish. After compounding with the wool side, push the quick release button
and flip the pad over. Pop it back onto the polisher and use the foam side
to render a beautiful gloss, all with a single pad and a single polish!

System One Drive Adapter
The System One Center Drive Adapter has a 5/8 inch thread. It screws
onto your rotary polisher and works like a quick connect for the pad. Pop
the Cutting/Finishing Pad onto the spring-loaded adapter. Press the quick
release button on the bottom of the adapter to remove the pad. The adapter
keeps the pad perfectly balanced at all times and it’s virtually impossible
for the pad to come off the adapter while the polisher is in use. The
adapter is chrome-plated solid brass with a stainless steel internal release
mechanism.

Microfiber Cloth
Soft and nonabrasive, System One’s Microfiber Cloth is safe on any
automotive surface. Use it to remove the polish residue and buff the paint
to a deep shine. Microfiber is made of polyester and polyamide threads that

Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner
Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner contains a degreasing agent that breaks
up oil and eliminates every last trace of residue. Soap (as in dish soap)
can leave a residue of its own, so there is no soap in this cleaner. Intense
cleaners and degreasers break up oily deposits left by car care products so
the pad rinses completely clean. This pad cleaner is ready to use in a
convenient pump spray bottle.

The Edge Foam Pad Conditioning Brush
removes excess, caked polish and restores the usable texture to your foam
pads in seconds. An angled handle and textured grip give you excellent
leverage as you press the brush against a spinning pad. Don’t stop working –
clean the pad and keep polishing!

The Complete System One Wax Kit includes
the System One Pro Kit plus a premium carnauba wax, an additional buffing pad,
pad cleaner and conditioner, more towels, a pad conditioning brush, and the Makita 9227C Circular Polisher. This
complete car care kit gives you everything you need to compound, polish, protect
and enhance your vehicle using your Makita rotary polisher.
Directions:
-
Make sure the vehicle is
clean and dry. The paint should not be hot.

To compound, use the
wool side of the Edge Cutting/Finishing Pad on your rotary polisher. To
polish, use the white foam side of the pad. Mist the unused pad with XMT
Polishing Pad Conditioner to soften the pad.

Apply a quarter-size
amount to the paint. System One X3 is a gel that clings to vertical surfaces.
A little polish goes a long way.

Set your polisher
maximum speed at 1500 rpm. For wool, we suggest maintaining a speed between
1000 and 1200 rpm. With a foam pad, you can work up to 1,500 rpm.

Work the polish until
the paint appears glossy.

Buff the paint with a
microfiber towel.

If you’ve used a wool
pad, you should switch to a foam polishing pad in order to polish the paint to
a deeper gloss. Repeat the same process.

You may want to go a
step further by polishing the paint again with the Edge Red LSP Pad. When used
with a soft foam pad such as this one, System One X3 Cutting Polish acts like
a fine finishing polish to further improve the paint’s gloss.

Now use a clean side of
the Edge Red LSP Foam Pad to apply a thin coat of Pinnacle Signature Series II
Wax to one panel at a time.

Buff off the wax with
one of the included microfiber towels. You can apply multiple coats if desired
to achieve a deeper gloss.

After using each pad,
spray them generously with XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner and agitate with a brush
if necessary. Rinse well and lay flat to dry.
