California Water Blade

California Water BladeFaster than a speeding chamois!

Floridians know better than anyone that when it rains…it pours. In under a minute a storm can come and pass, pounding your car with rain. You want to run out there with all your towels and chamois to ensure water spots won’t occur, but it’s a workday, and you don’t have that much time to spare. Luckily the designers at California Car Duster came up with a speedy solution, the California Water Blade. Combining a patented ‘T-Bar’ edge with medical grade silicone, California was able to create a product that is not only the most effective product for removing surface water, but also the gentlest. Here are reasons why this product’s performance stands out in the industry:

Towels Are a Thing of the Past. Max used to have a tower of towels and chamois in his garage until he started using the Water Blade. I’m sure many can relate. With this product, you are reducing the need for an arsenal of towels to battle water spots. The Water Blade works faster and easier than towels. With a minimal fatigue factor, your arms will thanking you after use.

The Proof is in the T-Bar. The patented technology used for the edge of the Blade is outstanding, and has changed the way cars are dried forever. A remarkable feature of this product is that it will not cause abrasion or scratching. We’ve tested it on just about every surface, including the most delicate, and not one scratch was to be found. In addition to a revolutionary shape, the Water Blade itself is crafted from medical grade silicone, known for being strong yet smooth. Together, the shape and material of the Water Blade create 15 times less friction than drying with towels. This makes the Water Blade ideal for clear coats.

Contouring. This is an amazing feature of the Water Blade, as it is able to contour to just about any surface of your car, including fenders and rounded edges. Your vehicle will be dry in 1/3rd of the time it takes with conventional drying methods.

Versatile For Car and Home Use. Like many of the California Car Company’s products, the Water Blade is as useful indoors as it is outdoors. Use it on windows, mirrors, shower doors, and glass entry doors. If you want us to let you in on a secret, read what Max has to say about his favorite place to keep a Water Blade handy in the Q & A section below.

Storage Simplified. The dimensions of The California Water Blade are 2 3/8” x 12”, making it convenient and easy to store. Most importantly, it's easy to hold. Your hands and arms won’t tire while using this water removal tool.

Max gladly answers a couple of questions about The California Water Blade, as well as shares a valuable tip:

Q: Max, how often will I have to go over a section of my car with this product? I’m really tired of drying with all those towels.

Max: Just once! With one pass The California Water Blade collects and removes the water from your car, and no water means no water spots.

Q: What is drying friction?

Max: Good question. Based on the level of absorbency in a material, the friction time is either rapid, like the California Water Blade, or slower which is the case with towels and chamois that soak up water before they remove it.

Q: Is this a squeegee, Max?

Max: Heavens no! Squeegees don’t dry windows and other surfaces completely, like The California Water Blade. When a surface is damp, water spots will occur. This product is in no way to be confused with a squeegee, as you will find out with your first use.

Q: I love my Blade, and I was a doubter before I purchased it. Now I use it everywhere, and my wife likes to use it throughout the house as well. Do you have any secret spots you could let us in on, a place to use the blade that we might not have mentioned yet?

Max: Try keeping a California Water Blade in the shower. After you shower, simply use The Water Blade to wipe down the ceramic tile and glass doors. My secret? Pay attention to the grout lines, you will be amazed when you see that water is no longer in between them.
