I would recommend this item to a friend.

It just works
July 26, 2014
I finally used up a 10 year old can of Dupont Bug & Tar remover, and since I could no longer find that product (it's probably now outlawed as a dangerous substance or a California cancer causing agent), I ordered this. It works almost as well as the Dupont product, and actually seems similar in composition. It's definitely a petroleum-based solvent, but seems milder than naphtha or mineral spirits. I had a lot of (road construction) tar on my white truck, from tiny dots to heavy strings, and this removed them all quite easily. I didn't have any glue or bugs I needed to remove, but on the tar it worked very well, and a little bit goes a long way.
Pros:
It just works.
Cons:
None
